Assessing the poll:

Hi friends. I have a question about the poll we just ran, and how to make any future ones more effective.

The poll got over 1700 hits, but only 63 people voted, 2 of these after I had declared the poll closed. (It's now officially closed thanks to mod).

Now of course there's no expectation that anyone has to do anything on this board, and I wasn't expecting RHAG members to vote. Still, I was slightly surprised by the low vote total, especially when the women were so hot, and quite different, so I thought there'd be more discussion and even some moderate controversy.

 

I'm very grateful to all those who posted, especially for Seymour's shameless boosterism, that certainly helped Jenn Korbin come from behind, so to speak (I know, I've used this before). And I was glad that Meg posted a couple of times, our sole woman contributor.

But I was wondering how future polls could be made more attractive. If you visited and didn't vote, I'm curious why not, if you don't mind telling me. And any other suggestions.

Thank you. Again, I'm just curious.
