Loralee Reach 245 Report post Posted February 10, 2011 Revera, Stoneridge Manor is promoting a Grassroots Campaign this month to urge residents, family, friends, and extended friends and families outside of Revera by going to this OLTCA website to send ecards to MPP's and Dalton McGuinty pleading for more financial support. The government is not providing the funding required to allow our elderly enough of the care, compassion and dignity they deserve. Please support the campaign by sending an ecard from the following website. Reuben Sandwich 13841 Report post Posted February 10, 2011 Of the 2 LTC facilities my Mum has been in, the staff have been compassionate and professional in sometimes difficult circumstances. We are fortunate she is in a modern place now but it can be a long process, 18 months for her placement of choice. Thanks for highlighting this. A card has been sent.
