We launched the new site today

It looks very similar to the old site but it's actually a entirely new system!

All done in CSS and those clunky frames that the search engines hate (That were originally made in 1997 on EC) were finally removed and replaced with some fancy CSS work. Really the site looks the same but it's a completely different site as the core system is brand new.

The ladies and agencies will notice the biggest differences right now in the management area (Especially the agencies as they can now manage staff profiles a lot better).

75% of the management area (when the ladies and agencies manage the profiles and account) has been recoded. We still have some new stuff we are working that will come later in the year like a photo library, better stats and some other surprises.

Techie people will notice the site is now seriously optimized for the search engines. All the URL's are now SEO friendly, most of the site is XHTML/CSS2.0 Strict with html pages being created on the fly for every page.

when viewing ladies ads in the city listings the menu on the left side of the screen with the ladies thumbnails will now follow along with your choices. For example this is Christine's ad (Joyful Spirit)

Notice how on the left side of the screen it puts her listing at the very top. I really like that new feature.

I find the site is loading much faster now (as the code is a lot more efficient) and the site flows a lot better. Hope everyone enjoys it and as always EC would love your feedback and suggestions from the guys and the ladies!
