Things are about to get a little sexier in this city.

The TABOO Naughty but Nice Sex Show is taking over at the Winnipeg Convention Centre from Feb. 4-6 and itâ??s sure to be a weekend hotspot for anybody looking to spice things up.

The upscale sex trade-show is an adult-themed playground that boasts something for everybody, including a number of live entertainment venues and unique merchandise vendors. Even people seeking sexual wisdom or advice from â??sexpertsâ? can take part in informative, educational and entertaining seminars offered up at the show.

Kicking things off on Friday night is Girlsâ?? Night Out, where women can get in on a two-for-one admission deal. Masquerade Night takes place the next day, on Saturday, giving attendees the option to dress up in their sexiest costume or mask to receive $5 off the regular ticket price.

â??The show is for anyone who has sex, and we hope everyone does,â? said international host and â??Mistress of the Main Stage,â? Master Sarah Moanies, adding that the goal of the TABOO Sex Show is to not only â??sexify some curiosity,â? but also to insert a little humour into sex.

â??You know the old saying, itâ??s OK to laugh in the bedroom, just donâ??t point,â? she said.

The show also offers confidence-boosting attractions like a booth by Ace Angels International Body Painting, a Vancouver-based agency that uses the body as a human canvas.

â??Body painting is a bucket-list thing,â? explained executive director Michael Nault. â??Itâ??s something that people donâ??t have access to every day.â?

Nault said a person wanting to undergo a colourful transformation can expect to pay between $60 to $100 to one of his award-winning artists. He said the entire process takes anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes and is done in a way that is safe and comfortable for anyone, including those who may be a little insecure.

â??This transformation is for that person who may have fears about doing it, but has taken those fears and said â??piss on this.â?? Itâ??s so much more than just body painting,â? he said.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online or at the door. For more information log onto the website at www.canwestshows.com/home-taboo.
