Zoe Zee 13876 Report post Posted March 3, 2011 Hey everybody, So I was wondering, what makes a hobbyist go to a MP rather than an Indy who provides massage? I'm thinking it's most likely due to a "right now" sort of thing - that you can just walk in and see who is available etc. In that case, do you usually phone an indy you would like to see first and if they aren't around, then you go to an MP? roamingguy 300292 Report post Posted March 3, 2011 Speaking for myself, and only myself...I go to see an MA if I am looking for an erotic massage/body slide etc. I'm not looking for escorting services I'm looking for massage. When I see a SP, I'm looking for escort services...in my case the gfe, which is my preference But it's not a case of one is a better service vs the other, each fills a niche, and at least in my mind, one is not better than another, each are different and unique And just as I would go to a MA it's not for escorting services, I don't see a SP for massage purposes RG Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I think that timing/availability plays a huge part in it. Also, the variety of ladies available. The guys who tend to book with me are able to book appointments in advance and they tend to be interested in finding 1-3 quality providers rather than playing the field. For example, in Ottawa, Megan's Touch is an MA who works independently out of her own location, not at an MP. Amanda and Summer are MAs who work at Paradise Spa (a MP). It was easy to check her schedule and pencil in "out of office" meetings to get the occasional TLC I required. Still searching for her replacement. I might have to go legit after she retired and joined the real world. I haven't managed to find a local SP that fits the bill yet but we do have a lot of lovely ladies here in the 'Peg. I have had a few bad experiences with SP's and would choose not to relive or put myself through them again. There have been a few too many that are impossible to hook up with too! It's enough to hurt a guy's feelings...(Yes, I am being sarcastic a little.) I guess that comes with the business. Touring SP's have been the safer bet because they keep a more business-like schedule. Not that they are clock watchers but that they are on time and the hotel rooms are always nice. Some times the dance to find some one you're sympatcio with can be a real drag. Also I'm not a f/s player so it can be more ecomonical, simply said I get to play more :) I have seen my share of indies sp's and have enjoyed many but currently it will take some one very special to turn my head. In my case my schedule has always been hectic and often unpredictable. Many times it was a matter of suddenly having a couple of hours to kill in the middle of the day and alot of Indies are just not available on short notice. Alot of guys won't even try because (and I've had this happen to me as well) in the past when they've called ladies for a "short notice" appt. they've gotten a lecture about how we can't expect them to be sitting around waiting for our call. Some guys will also say it's hard to schedule a few days ahead because they can't predict their "horniness". I've personally had a couple of occasions when I've been scheduled to see a lady a few days down the road. Then, WHAM!, the day of the appt. something happens to put me in a less than celebratory mood. The session has turns out to be very disappointing, no fault of the lady but because my mental state has hampered my performance. Now if your asking would we call you hoping you're available on short notice before we venture over to our favorite MP? If you are open to short notice appointments, Yes! pjrd 324 Report post Posted March 4, 2011 I like the MPs. There are lots of beautiful women working there. I really enjoy relaxing in the jacuzzi tub with a hot gal. MPs are convenient for me personally so that's where I usually go. I do like to see a well reviewed indy on occaision but find it a bit harder to set up days in advance and comit to driving to the city on a particular day. That's all, just easier for me. Usually scheduling isn't realy an issue, as I plan ahead. Outside the sensual part of the appointment it's important to get a good massage first. (Once I find a good one I repeat) I think one of the reasons I go that route is that all the fee wind up with the provider, although I know that they carry their own expenses. rubintugger 3323 Report post Posted March 6, 2011 Mp's (like EB/TO) usually offer a clean environment, well appointed rooms with hot tubs, and a selection of attendants to choose from. An independent SP who offers MA services usually doesn't have a massage table or a jaccuzzi, and there is usually just one attendant to choose from. Sometimes, I go to a restaurant and try something new. Some restaurants I don't even look at the menu (Bring me the Friday special, please). It all depends on what I'm in the mood for. Another factor if that few SP's differentiate rates based on services rendered. An hour is an hour, regardless if you're MSOG'ing your brains out or having a relaxing massage (in actuality, the SP's probably have to work harder during a massage session a lot of the time...). So, your cost per hour is generaly higher with an Indie. And no Jaccuzzi. If I knew an indie that had a jaccuzzi (that was clean) and a massage table and offered a relaxing rub and tug for $125/hr, I'd probably frequent her facility regularly... You can pre pay for 4 rooms sessions (I chose 45 min) and get the 5th "free" and you can book ahead and reserve some one. So normal room rate is $60 for 45 min if you pre pay it's $48 for 45 min in a jacuzzi room, girl in tub. Tip is extra and service is non f/s. All in about $130 for 45 min. An additional $80 is the appropriate tip for "extras" within an MA experience. It's not unreasonable to pay $130 for a 45 min session. I think one thing a few members fail to understand is that the attendant makes nothing off the room fee. If she is not tipped fairly and appropriately, she makes no money. I like the MPs in Toronto because they are convenient, and affordable. ($160-$200 for one hour) I have a couple of favorite MAs who know how to float my boat. However, in Ottawa (the voluptuous Bethany) and Toronto (Jennifer the energizer bunny and Crystal Blonde, you minx) I have found fantastic opportunities with indy MAs. It's more expensive, but more intimate. And you get more intimate, passionate consideration than MPs, where things are more restrictive. MPs: more convenient, more affordable.
