Dubb_C 140 Report post Posted March 7, 2011 Hey everyone, I am a hobbyist who hasn't taken part in any fun for awhile. A few months ago I thought I had contracted an STD and was unsure how I got it or what it was. I had small white bumps near around the shaft and near the head of my penis. It made me nervous and I quickly made an appointment to see the doctor. Well it luckily turned out that I had no STD's and was in great sexual health. However, what those bumps were is referred to as Pearly Penile Papules (Wiki Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hirsuties_papillaris_genitalis) and they are completely benign and non-contagious! It was a huge weight off my shoulders, however, despite the fact that I have been assured that they are "normal difference" I am still a bit nervous to book with an SP while they are there. I would hate for them to think it was an STD or form of HPV. (I would probably get rushed out the door and get nothing in return for my money... I assume anyways). I was just wondering if some SP's knew about this condition and/or what they would do if a hobbyist had these during a session. I would like to get back into the game but I am a bit unsure of it.... My favorite part of it all is BBBJ and I just assume my papules might scare some SP's off. Also, any other guys out there have the same thing? And go through the same concerns? If anyone wants more info this site seems pretty good: http://pearlypenilepapules.net/
VedaSloan 119179 Report post Posted March 7, 2011 I've had clients with those before, and I knew what they were, so I wasn't concerned. I would assume most of us ladies have seen it all before, so it wouldn't be too surprising.
Miss Scarlett 25073 Report post Posted March 7, 2011 Even if I was unsure of it and choose not to see you I would not take your money, but my suggestion to you is be upfront about what it is, and let her decide if she wants to see you. Honesty will help in the long run.
Nicolette Vaughn 294340 Report post Posted March 7, 2011 If the SP saw the white bumps you're referring to, she would most likely put on a condom for oral instead of rushing you out the door. I always discreetly do a visual inspection first.
SamanthaEvans 166767 Report post Posted March 8, 2011 These are fairly common but it's true that they look like HPV. As I'm not a doctor, I wouldn't be willing to decide, on my own, whether they're papules or HPV. I never give any bareback services, though, so with or without this, a condom is not optional. S**********o 258 Report post Posted March 8, 2011 I have these on my little soldier too. Like you I freaked out the first time I saw them and went straight to the doctor. I haven't worried about them since. I never ask for BB service so it's not an issue for me and no SP I have ever been with has commented on it. I understand it can be a bit embarrassing since they do look so much like HPV and thanks to the porn industry there is a distorted view of what a penis should look like but if I had to get out of the awkward situation of explaining what they are I'd just crack some french tickler joke and provide the same link to wikipedia. If it's a huge concern to you I suggest to just be up front about it. Better to find out early if it's going to be an issue.
pearly papules 100 Report post Posted April 30, 2011 Thanks for the heads up. I also search that papules isn't STD and all I have to do is to go to a doctor for treatment. We shouldn't be afraid of it and what is important is that there is a cure. So let's face it. Nice topic! I am able to share my experience too.
