Samurai 7678 Report post Posted September 18, 2015 Set up meeting with Vanessa Hastings over a couple days and communications thru lyla. Communication was good, back and forth, and optimistic on both sides. Picked , day, time, place (I was booking and paying for place). Said I'd contact via Lyla the afternoon before to confirm before I booked the room. She responded "sounds great". Then I contacted her the next day (day before our agreed meeting) as agreed and nothing, than texted, nothing. Checked in again last night...nothing. You can never say what happened so I can't judge Hope she's ok. But yeah bummer. Based on recommendations I was really looking forward to meeting her. I did however find out Manuela Cruz, who is fantastic, was in town so I managed to see her instead and it was fantastic. Additional Comments: Thank you Midnite-energies that's a real great possibility and gives me some hope to think optimistically about the situation. Because it was Thursday when I said I'd contact her to get her reconfirmtion and it was Thursday eastlink was out. I have East Link but do most of this from my phone so it didn't affect me. I did send her a message later Thursday night to tell her that I had not booked the room and therefore had to cancel the appointmentâ?¦ Man I hope she didn't show up because that would really be horrible. I've never ever no showed!!! Additional Comments: Just remembering this, an hour after I didn't receive a reply I texted the phone number she posted on her Lyla ad and did not receive a response there either.
