Notes from old site?

I've searched and cannot seem to find any posts about notes.

 

Where did our notes go from the old site? Will they eventually be ported to this new site?

  I would recommend posting your concern/question to this thread:

The mod normally replies and address problems in less than 48hrs when not the same day.

For GChrome and others asking about it in the future, this is what mod posted on July 26 in the thread Greenteal just referred to.

I PM'd Cerbmod about this. It sounds like Notes won't be coming back in their previous form, but they'll be replaced by something else (I don't know what). And we'll get the content of our old notes (not sure how) so we won't lose stuff.

What happened to 'friends' from the old site?  I had many and now I can't find them in my profile.

Gone. You can follow people now, which is somewhat different but the closest we have.
