has anyone met this person?? Anyone have any idea why someone would make a fake ad and say they’re at a Fredericton hotel without asking for any money ahead of time like etransfers? Sting operation?? Anyone hear of law enforcement in New Brunswick doing this?

There really shouldn’t be a law enforcement sting like that. It feels way too much like entrapment and a violation of some of your Charter rights.

I do know that there were some police enforcement operations back in October which targeted women doing outcalls to hotels, but I’m not aware of any that would be targeting men. The October ones would have been related to “Operation Northern Spotlight” which is a national initiative that is alleged aimed at reducing human trafficking and exploitation but with notably limited results. This is a controversial investigation that has taken place every October for the last several years. Again though, not targeting johns.

That being said, I don’t know the person behind the ad. It could very well be a scam, a troll or someone farming for info in general. Or it could be totally legit. As a rule, it’s always best to limit all (if any!) identifying personal info you share with unknown people over the internet.

Link is dead so not sure what was posted.

Legit providers do rent hotel space and not all require etransfer ahead of time.

I'm not aware of any law enforcement going on anywhere in NB.

Just to reiterate,,as long as you are booking a time for companionship,  not asking for sexual services, even if it was a sting, nothing will happen. It's not against the law to pay for companionship,  but it illegal to pay for sexual services.

As a provider, I have NEVER asked a client what he wants to do for the time and money. Just a heads up. 

Stings always want to connect a sexual service with a dollar amount.

I meant that it’s just strange that when fake ads are posted, usually there is a demand for some kind of payment before meeting. I am seriously curious about what’s going on at the Fredericton where all these fake ads are pointing too.

Sometimes it's just assholes who get off on fucking with people and I have heard of situations where there is conflicts between SPs in an area or visiting an area so their is all kinds of weird things happen.

This thread seems to have gone down an odd path, and I'm wondering if Sofia's reputation is being damaged without reason?  I'm reading insinuations, but nothing directly commenting on this lady.  I've never met her, but it seems unfair to paint her with this brush at this time.

   For the moment it's not even clear if "Sofia" is actually a lady or just a random name created for a series of questionnable ads. 

Better wait until someone posts a review attached to a profile/webpage before worrying about a reputation being damaged.
