I know many providers with no online presence who are ethical and run successful businesses. Boards aren't needed to make provider successful but they have the power to ruin a providers life both personally and professionally. A rare few of my clients are on the boards, most don't want to be involved with them and some don't even know they exist. If there is nothing online that doesn't mean she's not reputable, it means there is nothing posted about her. There are a myriad of reasons why there is nothing, with the most obvious being she doesn't want anything posted. I've specifically requested that nothing be posted about me. If someone has enjoyed themselves, a simple thank you is appreciated; if there is a problem then I rectify it. There is no need for anything to go online. smiles, cat Great post. Everyone is entitled to operate as they wish 🙂 You're right, there are legit real honest escorts that have no online presence (no reviews, no social media). If she has no proof in her ad and her pictures are not verified either, then there is no way for a client to know if she's legit or not. At this point, the options are: 1. Take a chance (this has a VERY low success outcome) 2. Ask for proof, get proof, book 3. Ask for proof, request denied, respectfully move on Edited May 7, 2019 by bobbi

It's not by any means a well functioning board, because the rules are designed to suppress participation and the sharing of info. How does "absence of recommendation = provider bad" makes any sense? Absence of lightning doesn't tell me it's sunny. You're delusional with your "members can read between the lines". If they could, this board would be actual useful content instead of being 75% "hey did you see X" and 20% you giving your opinion on everything. But hey rules are rules, and I abide by them. Nobody's forcing me to be here, that's true. I think it's deplorable that this is the only board in the area. You use stronger language than me but I agree with a couple points you made. 1) This board could be improved by reduced rules and a few changes but despite calling for change and despite mods asking for what changes can be made, no changes have been made. Make this an easy site to find providers, learn about providers and share experiences and I think everyone will gain from it. Yes we need to be careful of people ruining providers reputations out of malice, I have ideas on that but there's no sense anyone is listening so won't waste my time. 2) I've skipped participating on many topics and even starting threads because I'm f**ing tired of a few (one?) members who either complain or divert the topic or claim rules are being violated, or just want to dominate the conversation with their opinions and take up all the oxygen. Just tired of it. If there's no joy and no value to this site I'm just not going to participate. I don't need people to agree with everything I post but be constructive, not a killjoy and not so pedantic. By the way, tons of work went into the TOFTT guide and very much appreciated, a highly useful document. I think its more risk adverse than I am but that's just me. Loads of value to the document even if I won't follow the guidelines 100%. Everyone is helped by the effort Bobbi put into it. bobbi 1388 Report post Posted July 25, 2019 (edited) Bumping in the name of exposure. LINK: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1tLf9Ka6dI6Tb4XLFr18cuPruHrMyUZwxC6Q1VsOMBSk/edit# I've also revised the "Texting made VERY simple" section to these: Text #1: "Hello [insert escort’s name here], how are you? I saw your ad and I’d be interested in seeing you. Can I have your rates, included services, restrictions, and location please?” Text #2: I just want to confirm that you are really the woman in the pictures of your ad? Or are you posting pictures you look similar to? I ask because many escorts post pictures of other women. Btw I would understand and respect if you didn't want to put your own pictures online for privacy reasons. Text #3: Do you have an established social media or website that you use for work? Or do you have a link to a review of yourself on an escort review board/forum? Or do you have a full body proof picture of yourself with your phone # on a paper like many escorts have nowadays? Sorry to ask but I'm sure you know that most ads on leolist are dishonest, or worse 😞 Text #4: Would you be understanding and accommodating to send me just ONE picture showing your FULL frontal body while doing this hand gesture: [insert specific hand emoji] Please? This would provide me reassurance that you are really this amazing looking 🙂 Showing your face and nudity is up to you, but the full body and hand gesture is KEY. Text#3 allows for the escort to tell you if she's not just a random ad on LL which could save both parties time and aggravation. Of course the guy/client should have read the ad properly and at least Google her phone number first to see if any hints are available. TheMan 11 Report post Posted July 2, 2020 Just on a side note about why this board doesn't allow negative reviews. I have a thought..... This is a Canada-wide board - lots and lots of escorts could be negatively reviewed. Now, imagine how many emails/private messages the mods would get from these SP's once they find out someone is "talking shit" about them? The threats the mods would get...the headaches...and all the SP's/"managers" who would flood the board with negative reviews - would YOU want to deal with that? Just sayin.... Even if, say, the board allowed established members with high ratings to be allowed to give negative reviews or charged a membership fee to weed out certain people, it probably still wouldn't work. Here's another thought, What's being said here is only a drop in the ocean in all the online chatter about the Canadian adult industry. There many other boards that allow negative reviews, bullying, doxing and other forms of harassment against providers and most of those been online for over a decade. Most fraudulent providers and their management couldn't care less if reviews were good, bad or flagged as fraudulent. As long they're profitable, nothing else matter. And once exposed, they start again under different names, pictures and numbers and can do this for a long time. This board offers a positive environment for advertisement and recommendations. If not worth recommending or flagging, it's not worth mentioning.
bobbi 1388 Report post Posted July 3, 2020 (edited) In my opinion, both of you are right in your own way. However, what does it have to do with the topic of this thread? This thread is about doing pure TOFTT on totally random un-established escorts; and offering guidance to help this activity. I know, but I think his post deserved a reply as he implied the direction of the board was due to outside pressure from the industry. There was a period when procurers had far more influence, but that changed in the last two decades. Just wanted to set the record straight. Sorry for being off-topic.
