Reviews On SP's

Recommended Posts

What has intrigued me as of late on this review board is simply that....the lack of reviews. I recall when this site was called by a different name reviews would show up daily. Now we are lucky to see one new review / week. With the amount of SP's advertising in HFX we should see a lot more dialogue on here. Too bad actually.

To quote the rules: "Post only positive recommendations! This is not a review board!"

The number of recommendations constantly varies, but there always discussions about new providers.

Well I guess we need to start a review board.

Many of those already exist. Just a question of finding the one that meets your needs.

Why do people want to turn Lyla into a review board??? This is a recommendation board, and was a recommendation board when it was CERB.  If you want a review board there are boards to choose from, this board offers something different, and doesn't want to be a clone of the rest.

As for lack of reviews (well first off should be recommendations) how many complaining of the lack of recommendations don't contribute/post any recos of their own.  A board only works when the members contribute to it, not just lurk hoping for something to read.

So quick answer as to the lack of recommendations, maybe members just aren't writing any or maybe (another possibility) is that the lady doesn't want recommendations written about her. And if you want reviews boards there are three boards (end with ...erb, plus some others) to choose from.  But Lyla was and is a recommendation board and it's rule don't allow negative reviews

A rambling

I'm just tired of posts being picked apart and taken off track. Its partially the site, partly the members but I've cut back on public posts dramatically and just PM members instead.

Oh gosh , God forbid if something posts something negative here. The world might end.

No not oh gosh the world might end

More like read the RULES of Lyla. Here the link for you

https://www.lyla.ch/faq/category/1-rules-welcome-letter/

And copied/pasted for you these specific rules

PLEASE READ THESE RULES:
- No Slander
- Post only positive recommendations! This is not a review board!
- No advertising prostitution related services or advertising sites offering such things
- No posting nude photos or photos depicting sexual acts. Yes this site is adult but we do not allow porn
- If you do not have anything nice to say don't say it!

If you don't like Lyla's rules about "only positive recommendations", and "if you do not have anything nice to say don't say it" why did you even join this board???

Totally agree 100% with Rambler! Totally different than this site was a couple years ago.

One of the reasons could be new members.  I've tried twice to write a 5* recommendation for a recent encounter but I am to much of a junior to be allow.  I understand new accounts are monitored to protects the forum but I don't want to participate in a bunch of discussions.  Why not just allow the moderator to approve my post and delete me if I turn out to be poison.

I relate to this... I try to start a new conversation here and there on the board... a few gleam some good insights and others turn into off track back and forth that only make people less apt to contribute...

As for the OPs thoughts... I will post a recommendation anytime one is warranted from my experience. I find this site to be valuable, and use it in conjunction with others... there is no sole source of truth in this hobby... each place and the web and person who partakes lends their own value.

People are free to express their opinion as long it respects the rules of this board. And there's nothing wrong in posting constructive criticism. There's even a thread dedicated to this:

But one can't simply ask a board to completely change it's nature or address an issue that simply can't be controlled. Not all ladies are comfortable having their business and private life discussed publicly. And certainly not on poorly moderated review boards and where DNR and DND requests are not respected.

This gives two choices: Stick with LYLA for the positive recommendations or go elsewhere for the dirty laundry.

It doesn't take that much effort to put up the five posts or whatever to get out of moderation, does it?

I may be wrong on the history here but AFAIK one of the reasons for doing this was to try and eliminate the bots that create an account and then start spamming. And also to deter people who might want to create multiple accounts to shill or trash a provider.

I think reccos are great for a lady starting out so gents know you are legit, ( real pics, not robbers )  etc. Its a wonderful way to be known  in the sea of beauties . I think i have 12  pages and they are opinions of people than really like me . There are others that may not like me and the reccos are meaningless .

Again awesome for newcomers but guys will find the right lady based on her presentation and the words she speaks.  😉

Sure recommendations may only allow for positive feedback. However, this has never hindered me. Simply post in the provider discussion feed what person your asking about. In my experience as a hobbyist other hobbyists would DM their neg experience or warning to me. Everyone helping each other is why I love this site.

Admittedly though I find it more confusing then the site when it was when I first started. I wonder if that has anything to do with less recos 🤷‍♀️

Further thoughts.  Even a lady who has many, many reccos its nice to get a new one once in awhile. Keeps a lady current , especially one who has been around for many years.

Sometimes gents think oh no recco necessary, she has so many already . As someone who has been around a long time if you are pleased with me its nice for me to see  that you were.

Also gives other gents a feeling that I  still give good service and haven't gone to pot . ha ha ha  ;0

🤔 I actually started seeing non fetish clients since I made this last post. I am a part time low volume provider and typically only see a few clients every other week. Yet, I have gotten reviews from my clients after starting GFE in feb. 🤷‍♀️ Perhaps the lack of reviews a gal has is telling in itself.

On the other side I also know some hobbyists have tried to post a review but if they are new members they can’t. I also notice that people tearing into each other for little shit in posts now a days. One could speak more freely when this site had a different name. 🤷‍♀️ I have had other hobbyists tell me they no longer post in general for this reason.

Also,  I tend  to think at @Katherine of Halifax does and some of the respectable ladies who have been around a while get reviews less these days as they have so many recos already or the gent posted a review in the past. I made that mistake myself as a hobbyist. I saw the same few girls for years and never reposted after my first recco. Do not be scared to post a second review on the same provider if it has been a while since your first review. Tell us are the experiences getting better and more intense each time? I know I would love know that from both the orovider and hobbyist side.

I also have noticed a change from when I started just a little over a year ago. I see a lot of discussion that go on and on in a non constructive way. Very few recos. Mostly inquiries about ladies. I personally like to express myself. So when I first started I did not hesitate to share my thoughts about the ladies I was seeing. I did so three or four times over a period of three months. Apparently it was too much and I started getting not so nice private messages from other hobbyists. Even about comments from other sites. Almost made me give up on the entire thing. But I was recently widowed and finding myself alone I needed some human contact. But I was encouraged not to let myself be bullied so I persisted and glad I did. I had a wonderful year. I met some wonderful ladies and enjoyed some wonderful experiences. And I do not hesitate to tell about it if I so desire. Other than an odd comment in general discussion I have not written about any particular lady or experience for over three months. But I will not hesitate to do so again regardless of what others may think. I am not competing with anyone. However, I do wish that more would be said about more of the ladies that are out there. It would be good for them and for the hobbyists. But not much happening in that section anymore. Well that is my five cents worth now waiting for the flack!!

😖 Grrr this makes me sad. Send those petty jealous boys to me...

They obviously need a good hard whipping and some discipline; and not the fun kind I usually administer.

Reviews and recommendations are a very interesting topic and may be a hot button for many.

I think the biggest reason we are seeing less recommendations on here is as @RayRenpelle said. The guys are getting picked apart for spending x mouth of time and constantly being ask does so and so provide x, y ,z. As with everything everyone's experience may vary. Hygiene plays a huge part in activities I will do with my clients, along with if they are a smoker in both senses.  You can scrub all day but those flavours are in your body, and fluids and are very hard to remove.

For a basic recommendation I like to think all you need is; is their location is safe and clean, are they who they say they are and did you over all enjoy your time. Super simple.
I just recently learned thanks to @Janebondage that we can reply to recommendation as thanks.

Reviews (Hopefully mod doesn't spank me for this) are more of the X, y, Z tone and can be ruthless when it comes to their tones when writing them. Which is why a lot of providers have a no review policy. I am okay with them as long as they are tastefully written.
There is a section on merb for Nova Scotia; Halifax and Dartmouth. Since I pay to be on the sites I would love to gain traffic from there. So if you boys really want that dirty laundry aspect have at it. There is a couple of people that review already for this area.

Overall stay safe and healthy!
