Hey all, just wanted to start yet another discussion about providers wasting time. 

I hear all the time how clients don't show up - and that providers have lists of bad dates (for one reason or another). I know lyla doesn't allow us to completely trash on providers here, and I get the reasoning, but really - we need to know about the hobbyists who are time wasters. 

I live about an hour from Halifax and drive in to see providers most of the time. I just got back from another girl (two girls in two days) who just go radio silent once i'm there. 

 

I sat in my truck for 30 minutes before I bailed. How long do you guys typically wait until realizing she's messing with you?

Like you, I drive an hour from the valley to see a SP. So getting stood up is a real burn for me too. I try to limit this from happening by seeing the same girl that I know is legit, or by doing the “Lyla-check” first. This has helped a lot, but sometimes if you take a chance then there is that risk. Lyla has definitely made choosing a SP a better process! Thanks to all who contribute.

Are you using reputable girls with established cliental? A little back ground work may make a difference. As someone who is also a hobbyist I used the other hobbyists around the boards here to vets providers. usually dropping a nite in their box if they had seen them or asking on a thread and other hobbyists would PM

Anybody with a cell number and internet connection can post as a provider. Doesn’t mean they are actually in the business of providing a professional service. Do your research - Just like clients, we are not all on the same page.

Wow , just wow. In all my years in service I  had an extreme emergency that  I was afraid to call . I left a note on my door explaining and of course the next date was free of donation.

Katherine: shit happens. I'm writing from Ottawa and we haven't met - though I think we've swapped posts here on Lyla (ok, more likely cerb). This has Happened to me and I've simply paid the provider and also paid for our next visit. Many circumstances are beyond our control, certainly for SW's - I believe that we need to hold the time-wasters and no-shows to account. I hope your clent who had to have a delayed visit reads this. You're too generous, but I already knew that.
