safety11 1327 Report post Posted March 16, 2020 (edited) Turns out I haven't been to a club in the past few weeks, so I'm short on news. Keeping this strictly in terms of our favorite pastime, obviously current events will impact the livelihoods of our local venues, servers, and entertainers. Thought I'd open up a space to discuss how the industry in Ottawa is handling it. What are you hearing about working hours, closures, impact on the business? And no, I'm not asking for my self interest. Not to be a White Knight, but the most important thing is the safety and health of the girls and bar staff. Kilt Boy 29353 Report post Posted March 16, 2020 I don't know about any abridged hours at this point. I've started working from home, so getting out will be next to impossible anyway. I've contacted a couple of young ladies I know (some not so young anymore) and forwarded them some advance cash to hold them over the next little while. I trust them enough to know that they aren't likely to screw me around. It's money I would have spent on them anyway. 3

Kilt Boy 29353 Report post Posted March 17, 2020 Good point. I'm also going to go donate blood today. I'm probably the only one here who is able to.
