I have posted in New Brunswick ads and announcements it is not yet visible. I did not put my phone number in the announcement because it is simply an announcement with new photos. And not an ad as such due to covid-19 therefore phone number seemed redundant. So will that mean that post will not be approved? Announcement page is what I used for saying im not available, or to say thanks for something, or to share tips to other users. Anytime i wanted to let people know something unrelated to my availability. Always wondered if it should be in escort discussion section, but thats usually filled w questions abt the providers so seems the wrong place for me to post non-ad related info. I hope the announcement section survives...
MsManda 25686 Report post Posted April 13, 2020 (edited) I fear that an app wouldn't be reliable to book though.. Being a privacy advocate, I use services like this anytime a business wants a phone number for me. They are very difficult to sim-swap and have built in privacy features including options to set "business hours" where all calls/texts outside of those hours don't notify you at all. Feel free ro DM if you want more info.
MsManda 25686 Report post Posted April 14, 2020 Thanks, OldandNerdy! I have looked into them a few times, but upon reading the reviews of even the paid apps, none seemed reliable enough for me to trust my business with on a regular basis 😞 They may be ok for the occasional user just looking for discretion, but I need something surefire that won't potentially fail me, crash, delete contacts or important booking info in the middle of a lengthy tour as I've seen them do with my friends. The glitches seemed to not mind if the users were premium or not 😞 As well, literally anytime that I've tried to post a contact number, anywhere in the country but Mtl, I've been met with not generally less than pleasant texts and calls, fake bookings etc, so for my sanity, I prefer to know & control who has a direct line to me.. My emails have never failed me, and I have no issue sharing my number with those who really need it, especially after we've met 🙂 But in almost 8 years, I've only even considered posting my number a few times, and tried even less due to the headaches. I always end up removing my number after a few hours Props to those who can handle accepting texts and calls from strangers lol

Not fair to customers either if they are going to try that method of contact and never get a response. And I don’t want to be forced to use a “work” number. I have a daytime job and just can’t managed that type of administrative work on top of that.

Hey Kylie Jane, You're listed as a verified independent on Lyla, so you shouldn't have any issues posting your schedules 🙂 We do have to approve any ads or recommendations before they appear just to ensure rules are being followed, but we are super quick at doing that so it should never take long for them to appear! As always, if you have any questions or feedback do feel free to send me or one of the other mods a message and we'll be happy to help. ❤️
