Guest Report post Posted July 23, 2020 This morning, for the first time in all the may years I've been a cerb/lyla member, I received a lyla newsletter to my personal email inbox. I've never signed up for a newsletter, ad receive no notifications from lyla, for privacy reasons. I immediately unsubscribed. Did this happen to others? Why did this occur?? Thanks
Guest Report post Posted July 23, 2020 Happened on a few occasions and went to account settings to uncheck notifications. This was addressed before:
Phaedrus 209521 Report post Posted July 25, 2020 Something like this, all notifications should probably be off by default, which might be tricky because that's probably not the default build of the software running the site. And new notifications that get added should be off by default too. @lydiahardwood could you get someone to look at this, please?

Hmm, that's strange that you received it as it should only go to opted in people! Let me investigate and get back to you. Appreciate you raising this. roamingguy 300292 Report post Posted July 26, 2020 Go to upper right hand corner where your user name is. Click on it Drop Down Menu comes up starting with Content. Scroll Down to "Account Settings" click on it Page comes up...Under "Other Settings" is "Notification Settings" click on it Page comes up with different notifications you can choose to have or not have (don't click on send me news and info LOL) Hit Save I think that'll work🤞 RG
Guest Report post Posted July 27, 2020 Thanks for the tips, guts, but I know how to set preferences, etc. I found it weird that after being on here for many years and never once receiving a newsletter, all of a sudden I got one. Something changed without me changing it, and that's not cool.
