Myself, I was always one who found himself wandering to the different stripclubs to meet the ladies and get a few dances. Nowadays I sit at home out of fear because of the current environment. I haven't been inside any club since March and I hate to say it but I am starting not to miss it. I just said that but I also know that when the day arrives I will be back there for sure. So I am curious to know if there are others who feel the same way. My impression is that some of the dancers are staying home also, and that the rules at the clubs are more restrictive. Under any circumstances, fewer dancers and stricter rules makes the clubs seem less fun. In addition, those who do go to the clubs may be putting themselves at higher risk of infection than those who stay home. So there are a lot of reasons not to go, but I can understand that many people are tired of staying home and want to go out and have some fun once in a while. Like Philmore, I don't really miss going to clubs. It seems to me like the strip club scene in Ottawa has gone downhill a bit in the past few years. Maybe it's partly just that I have changed, but some of the clubs have closed and others have come under new management and somehow the clubs don't seem to be quite as good as they used to be. Nonetheless, it would be nice for the COVID-19 pandemic to finish so the clubs could at least get back to the way they were before COVID-19. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

rexscott 520 Report post Posted August 2, 2020 I miss BareFax. I went every Wednesday for lunch when they offered steak and potatos. Eating and watching the show was a highlight of my week. I do miss the dancers, and escorts in general. When my love life had a dry spell it was a great alternative. No there's no alternative and it sucks. I remember raw sewage pouring down from the restaurant upstairs. I haven't been there for a couple of years. Did not like the gangsta vibe. We go to these clubs to have fun and feel safe.
