slacker 1290 Report post Posted August 15, 2020 This is the fourth story I've seen regarding potential outbreaks in clubs, two in Vancouver and one in Michigan somewhere. They don't discuss this in the CBC story, but I suspect the employee worked four days because they were pre-symptomatic and simply weren't aware they were infected. And unfortunately that can happen anywhere. I think you're very likely correct. I also agree that this could happen anywhere. The greater issues here are: 1. the large number of people involved; again it may also happen elsewhere, but with other mitigation procedures in place, and 2. the challenges for contract tracing in this situation which are exacerbated by the stigma associated with patrons and employees alike. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
1963Kennedy 10698 Report post Posted August 16, 2020 Beaches, nightclubs, SCs [usually night time], Trump rallies all bad places to be. Day time our SCs are doing a great job and it's very easy to social distance. Only waitress gets close and we are both wearing masks.
