What are your covidween plans this year?

Halloween is one of my favourite times of year so I'm not letting the pandemic get me down! There's a full moon on the 31st so I'll be doing a new moon and Samhain ritual. Probably eat a tonne of candy too. 😋

Sadly I live out in the country where we have a long distance between houses and I have a long dark driveway so in the past the only kids we had was the friends and neighbors and they are all grown ups now.  The only kids we are having this year will be my grand kids and I'm happy that they might show up if our government lets them.

I live in the "countryish" as well, in a fairly affluent subdivision, but in the older not so affluent section 

 

I've been here for 20 years and could pretty much guarantee having 40-50 kiddos come to the door.

 

Last year the total was 7.  It felt pretty sad knowing that 

A) most of the kids in the older section have grown up into adults now

2) the younger kids all live in the affluent section and won't bother coming to us poor folks for candy.

Gamma) that those aforementioned kiddos are gonna miss out on my awesome full size bars, cans of pop, and awesome Spider-Man themed costume

Well I've found that beautiful ladies draw other beautiful ladies in, so I figured this pumpkin mind end up with EVERY beautiful Halifax lady at my door looking for a treat.
