Boomer 33202 Report post Posted May 18, 2011 I saw a new photo album put up in the last few days, it's one in which the SP poses in a nun's habit. I've seen porn done in this manner, but never expected to see it here. I'm not terribly religious, and this may be a bit prudish, but I just think it's in bad taste. There are many who do value their religion and would be offended. Seeing a nun in a habit standing there with her tits hanging out doesn't turn me on. Many of the SP's here would like to raise the bar and be considered professionals, and by the same token, no doubt a woman who takes vows and dawns the habit do so for very sincere and unselfish reasons. I see no good professional reason to denigrate her in pursuit of a few extra tricks, if indeed that's the reason. Maybe she considers it artistic or funny.
Kimberly-Shea 28280 Report post Posted May 18, 2011 (edited) I agree with you Boomer. Although I believe in one's freedom to express their sexuality, I also found these picture's to be offensive. A personal website might have been a more appropriate place for pictures of this nature, but to each their own I guess. Guest m*ch***G Report post Posted May 18, 2011 I don't think the album in offensive but rather inappropriate. This is not a forum for religion nor should religion be brought into this.

Emma Alexandra 123368 Report post Posted May 18, 2011 I know but it is kind of twisted, why would you disrespect a nun like that...a nurse is one thing....but a nun.... I'm not saying its cool i'm just saying you never know what you might see here. Some People have a fetish for such things..so i'm guessing who ever it is is catering to that fetish. I personally don't like the idea but who am i to judge.
Rachelle Reigns 4828 Report post Posted May 18, 2011 I don't know if it's wrong or not....... As Emma said on a site like this we expect anything. Just like any other fetish wear there will be someone that likes it.......I was raised very catholic and don't find it wrong or offensive, but that's just me very open minded. Think about it like this if people outside our community viewed our pics and conversations they would probably say what we do and say is "wrong"......as an openminded and proud cerb member I think that this is what our community is all about accepting different fetishes and sexual tastes. Nicolette Vaughn 294340 Report post Posted May 18, 2011 Like politics, religion is a touchy issue for some people so to me this is considered in bad taste. There is a time and place for everything and even though I don't consider myself a religious person or agree with certain beliefs, I don't think that something like a habit that represents part of a certain faith should be mocked for purposes to advertise or sell your services. It really is a matter of respect.
Kaylee Kisses 1526 Report post Posted May 18, 2011 I have dressed as a sexy Nun for halloween parties before I think its fine i was raised Catholic but hey the wouldn't make these costumes if no one liked them. to each there own :)
LeeRichards 177238 Report post Posted May 18, 2011 I have zero interest in role play....there are religious beliefs and there are ethical beliefs. If pics like this on CERB are gonna become a problem then I personally would have more problem with ethical issues. Nuns are yes religious, but they are adults. The ...."teacher...naughty school girl scenario"...very unethical......(for the record I had a 17 year old niece sexually assualted by a professor in university)...."doctor/nurse and patient scenario"...very unethical....and so on. There are soooo many wonderful....but.....different people here on CERB. For me I have no interest in a Nun pic. Some guys are probably dialing their phones right now. Some ladies enjoy role play as a nun....some don't obviously. Let's just go with it. IMO
Megan'sTouch 23875 Report post Posted May 18, 2011 Well the Catholic church certainly offended me last week with their 'March for Life' against women's reproductive rights. But I still support their right to freedom of speech and freedom of expression. I also don't think that 'offending others' is a good enough reason not to do something. Many would consider just the fact that we post semi-nude photos to be offensive to their religious views and God-given sexuality.

Isabella Gia (Banned) 53881 Report post Posted May 18, 2011 Boomer's comment as I perceived it is not supporting or asking respect for the religion/church itself but to those who believe in it and I agree with him. As for you feeling offended by the 'March for life' well, I don't understand why but respect it and don't want to hijack the thread giving my point of view. Seeing pictures of a SP in a nun's habit certainly doesn't do much to butter my bread. Bad taste, not sure. Any more bad taste than an SP in a nurses outfit, one could say it's demeaning to health care professionals, nurses just sex starved...does that make it in bad taste Or in a police officer's uniform...likewise, portraying a stereotype that policewoman as sex starved, maybe using their authority to gratify their needs Or a schoolgirl's outfit, is that in bad taste???...does that conjure up images of underage girls BTW a rhetorical question/comment Just a couple examples off the top of my head...if I really thought a bit more could come up with other examples But is it offensive, or just an SP wearing an outfit as part of fulfilling a fantasy...nothing more, nothing less And as for offensive to the Catholic Church, well another issue. With the history of abuse at boarding schools and some Priests abusing boys, well lets just say pictures of an SP in a nuns habit doesn't seem to be looking as offensive now does it Any answers, no. Like I said doesn't butter my bread, but part of seeing SP's is allowing us to fulfil fantasies, and some guys may have such fantasies. As long as it's consenting adults, and no one gets hurt, really, does it matter A long winded quick rambling RG
Isabella Gia (Banned) 53881 Report post Posted May 18, 2011 Ok this seems like you are stereotyping here RG. Painting all priests with the same brush because some have commited abuse seems unfair to me. So because this has happened Catholic Church does not deserve respect? Also, as I said in my previous post on this thread Boomer just said he found it disrespectful to those here that are catholics not to the religion itself. I don't think if this is considered offensive or not depends on the actions you mentioned. One more thing, since this has been compared to other professions. Have you lost respect for all let's say police because a few cops have abused their position to commit crimes themselves? And as for offensive to the Catholic Church, well another issue. MightyPen 67414 Report post Posted May 18, 2011 As a character on Deadwood once said, "What claim does your piety have on my deference?" That tension between the Good implied by the dress and the Bad that's implied by the wearer is exactly the point of the outfit; it makes it a potent symbolic and sexual mix for some people. More power to 'em. That's the hazard of a free society: barring trademarks, symbols like "nun" aren't the private property of any one person or club. The church has invested a lot in building up nuns as symbols of purity and chastity, and I (mostly) don't begrudge them the uses they make of that symbol. But likewise, they need to accept that once it's out there, others can use that symbol for other purposes. Even purposes they don't like. As for individuals who have an emotional stake in Nun Purity, they need to get a grip too, and accept that their devotion to the symbol doesn't earn them special status in adjudicating its use. *Everyone* owns "nun", and can make what use of it they wish. I disagree that using the Bad Nun symbol in what's clearly a sex-friendly setting is in bad taste. I actually think it's plenty clever. What would be in bad taste would be, say, leaping up in a church service and handing out copies of the picture. But that ain't happening here.

So because this has happened Catholic Church does not deserve respect? Isabella First, I said, well this is exactly what I said "And as for offensive to the Catholic Church, well another issue. With the history of abuse at boarding schools and some Priests abusing boys, well lets just say pictures of an SP in a nuns habit doesn't seem to be looking as offensive now does it" Key phrase, "some Priests"...I didn't label all Priests. And my point wasn't that the Catholic Church deserves disrespect, it's that on the scale of things, given an SP dressing in a Nun's habit, vs the Priests who have abused boys, well I think any perceived abuse by an SP pales in comparison, that's all. The history of the boarding schools another matter, there has been almost systemic problem...Mount Cashell comes to mind. This is not a criticism of the Catholic Church. I'm sure any institution, be it religious, law enforcement, health care etc has skeletons in their closet. I just think those skeletons outweigh any perceived offence taken by an SP wearing outfits, be they a Nun's habit, police uniform, nurses outfit etc etc etc. That's all RG
mm99 285 Report post Posted May 18, 2011 This whole site and the people using it is considered a mortal sin by the Catholic church. We're showing it disrespect just by being here and I for one am o.k with that.
Maverick 2873 Report post Posted May 19, 2011 It's fine if you don't like it but I think the photo album has the right to be here. If the SP wasn't aware of the damage it could potentially do to her client base then she likely is now and will decide for herself if she wants to keep the pictures here. Nicolette Vaughn 294340 Report post Posted May 19, 2011 Even though *I* think it's in bad taste, that's just my opinion. However, I'm not going begrudge someone for thinking otherwise. I just feel that since religion always seems to spark some controversy like it is now, it is something I don't want to be involved in. As an SP, I wouldn't wear a habit in a photo to sell my services as an SP. I grew up Catholic and had a family member who was a nun so it's something that I feel shouldn't cross over into my activities as an SP. I'm going to stay neutral on this one. I'm not terribly offended nor do I necessarily approve. That's just my opinion.
Phaedrus 209521 Report post Posted May 19, 2011 I believe the child sexual abuse in the Catholic church was a systemic issue' date=' not simply a few bad apples.[/quote']Only a few bad apples (that have come to light so far) were actually using their positions of trust and authority to rape children. The systemic problem was that almost the entire church seems to have cooperated in covering their tracks; abusive priests were moved on to a new parish when their old one got too hot for them. And the rot went - and still goes - right to the top of the hierarchy, which has resolutely failed to even acknowledge the existence of the problem unless it was completely unavoidable, much less actually do anything about it. Sorry to rant, but I really feel quite strongly about this (although I'm fortunate enough to have been spared personal involvement). As for the original topic of discussion... I really don't see the problem. The nymphomaniac nun seems to be as much a staple of male fantasy as the hot teacher or the naughty nurse or the sexy schoolgirl or... need I go on? I see no reason why SPs (or anyone else, for that matter) shouldn't post pics playing on these things if they feel inclined to do so. We're all free to be offended by these or any other pics if we so choose... but I don't see why that gives any individual the right to indulge in attempting to censor them. For that I think you'd need to get the collective agreement of folks here in general (which doesn't look like it's likely to happen) or the singular agreement of the Mod (which probably isn't likely either, since AFAIK all album pics have to be approved before they're published).
LeeRichards 177238 Report post Posted May 19, 2011 Either a good time...or....a REAL bad time for a Nun / Irish joke I heard yesterday. For the record I am Irish...ouch This Irish tourist was on a bus tour of Castilla during the summer that had a stop at this old convent. The tour wasn't that interesting and he managed to stay behind and start wandering. Feeling the urge, he stopped to pee on the outside wall of the chapel. While he was doing his business, he was surprised by the Mother Superior. "OH! I am soo sorry!' "No," she replied. "Actually, I've never seen a man's...You know. Could I take a look?" The tourist was freaked out by a nun asking to see his works but it was kinda kinky in a way, so he figured, what the hell. The nun looked at it for a bit and as he was about to put it away she said, "You know, I always wanted to touch it. Would you mind...?" "This is really wierd, but sure." The tourist was getting really exited. Who could say that you had been tossed off by a nun? "Could you take it all out so that I can get a complete expience?" the nun requested. The tourist, sure that he was about to get laid, willingly took down his pants. The nun began fondling his testicles and suddenly straightened, and said, "Don't (SQUEEZE) piss (SQUEEZE) on the (SQUEEZE) church (SQUEEZE) walls!!!!!!!!!!!(SQUEEZE). roamingguy 300292 Report post Posted May 19, 2011 Hope you all have a sense of humour, a little levity needed The Nun's Regret A nun walks into a bus and sits behind the driver and says, "I have just one regret before I die," The bus driver asks "What might that be?", she says "I have never had sex, but I can't have sex with a married man or that would be a sin." The bus driver says, "I'm not married" The nun says, "I have to die a virgin so I will have to take it in my ass". Being the only two in the bus they went to the back and took care of business. When they were done the bus driver says to the nun, "I have a confesion to make, I am married." The nun says "I also have a confesion to make, My name is Rudy and im going to a costume party!"
cat 262460 Report post Posted May 19, 2011 If I posted about all that I may find offensive on CERB everyone would be sick of me. Bad taste, crass, crude abounds and there is only one way to deal with it. Enjoy it for exactly what it is and do not ask it to change to conform to you. It is what it is and therefore is exactly as it should be. cat
