Not knowing the context and what lead to this, I would suggest reading their term of service to find violations you can use as arguments to communicate with the admins and make your case. Other than that, not much can be done as they seem to operate from the U.S.(Arizona).
StephanieMystique 1902 Report post Posted January 8, 2021 It's with everything that has been happening with me being outed. It's attached to my personal name and other business. I just lost an a career opportunity and need to try and get these posts removed or at least buried in a google search.
OldandNerdy 1303 Report post Posted January 8, 2021 Unfortunately it's almost impossible to get something removed from there without legal action. Someone I worked with was put on there a few years ago and she eventually just gave up as she didn't want to pay a lawyer. She tried for over a year. That site is notorious for not taking things down unless it will impact their bottom line. There are also a few services that you subscribe to that will scrub the internet of content by doing the fighting for you. One example would be https://www.reputationdefender.com/individuals Maybe take the plunge and book a consult and see if they can help you manage it?
Phaedrus 209521 Report post Posted January 9, 2021 The only time I've heard of even a partial success was someone who used a DMCA notice to get her photos removed. But the rest of it remained, alas.

I used a site like this ^^ It was thedirtydefenders.com years ago, but the suggestion above seems like a similar service It wasn't cheap; 2500 USD in 2014, but it did the trick! Feel free to message me for the details of what the price included Thedirty will not remove you, no matter how much you plead or prove your case, don't waste your breath 😕 I wasted much energy there.. The easiest/fastest way to delete that stuff is by hiring a company who specializes in it

MsManda 25686 Report post Posted January 12, 2021 I agree Danielle! But I remember that this is the internet, it's not always pretty lol Their right to speak, as gross as it is, is our right to speak, and I won't wish them away because the same laws that allow thedirty to remain, are the same speech laws that allow us to exist - especially on US sites 😞
Kitten 1281 Report post Posted January 22, 2021 Ugh that place. The place that doesn't deserve your traffic and anyone who pays it attention doesn't deserve yours. Only trolls and idiots would take that source seriously. Five years ago I ended up on it twice, by people incredibly close. That betrayal took a while to manage. Sadly without a lawyer not much can be done. Even the DMCA notices are usually ignored unless coming from an attorney. Good news however is that it will fade from the SEO after some time as you cant find my name in the search anymore. I have been curious however how the FOSTA-SESTA laws apply to the dick responsible for this horrible place. I doubt any good employer scours the dirty to assess prospects and if they are that's likely a team you do not want to work for anyway. Sending strength as I know how much this hurts.

Guest Joe Schmoe Report post Posted March 30, 2021 As someone who is looking for our perfect companion... here's my opinion. I used 'TheDirty' to find out the background on one of you we're thinking about getting a hold of, and to possibly find a face pic. So, in your defense, it was helpful to get to know her a little bit. I'm able to sift out the BS. The only way I found to use this as a gateway was the conversation about you all complaining about it! Lol. My only advice... Erase your conversations about these sites! But like I said, it was helpful for me to use as referance I'll be contacting her someday soon. Take it as you will.
OldandNerdy 1303 Report post Posted April 3, 2021 @Joe Schmoe I'm not sure I understand what your point is here.. Are you basically telling someone to not ask for help in getting harassing posts taken down, because that calls attention to them, and then potential clients will be more apt to seek out those harassing posts and use them against the person? Isn't this a form of victim shaming? "Maybe you shouldn't have been targeted for harassment and then actively fought against them"? I'm not really sure what the purpose of your post was, other than to call yourself out as a person for the providers to avoid at all costs. 3
Guest Joe Schmoe Report post Posted April 4, 2021 Lol!!😂 No. Not what I was saying at all! What I'm saying is... When you post these conversations about this stuff, it leaves more of a trail to follow. Then the researcher gets curious and looks for themselves when they come across this conversation. Now, possibly, if the conversation was deleted, say after you acquired the sought-after information, it would leave less evidence. Therefore, less traffic to the ill-post. Hope this explains what I mean a little better.

MsManda 25686 Report post Posted June 23, 2023 (edited) https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/the-dirty-defenders-llc Idk that this group is still active, but find an online reputation specialist, or lawyer, who does the same thing. It's a whole industry now, with the world being online more than before They're the only people who can advocate for you to have those posts removed ♥️ Edited June 23, 2023 by MsManda

I understand and feel your pain with dealing with this awful website. They won't be coming up in Google. Thanks to new censorship laws Google has dropped many websites from its SEO listing. These websites are one, along with a lot of our own website sites. If someone uses an alternative search engine, they might come up. You can try creating new content to bury it in the SEO listing. The hard part of paying someone to remove it, is that they really don't have to. Even if you pay. They also have sister sites that copy and paste the posts to their sites, so you'll just be running in circles to deal with it. I hate that people even give these type of websites a gain of attention and the people that post to them are the lowest of low.

You can pay more to have it ALL tracked down and removed, and your name insured against future posts, for an additional fee That's what online reputation specialists do 🙂 It's not cheap, but it's easier than trying to fight the sites yourself, if you're really concerned about the info that's out there ♥️
