Cowboy kenny 50799 Report post Posted July 15, 2008 Timing is everything my friend, timing is everything. While she will be and is already missed by many; you will find there are other fine independent ladies in town to take care of your lonesome heart and anything else that needs tendin' to. She certainly did raise the bar, but sadly the time has come for her to mosey on along to new horizons.

charbed 234 Report post Posted July 15, 2008 I know what you mean, I missed out on another SP a few months ago... sigh, here's hoping I'll find another one to make feel at home
Guest f***2f*** Report post Posted July 15, 2008 Well guys there is no shortage of women SPs....it's always a shame when we find a really class act, then she retires and we're back to square one. I don't know the average time women spend in this occupation but I suspect it's probably not long. Cat wrote a very good post about the challenges that face SPs a while back. The ladies who've stayed in for the long haul are generally very skilled and worth a visit...especially the ones highly recommended here.
d*mm*y 887 Report post Posted July 15, 2008 I think the average career is about 6 months, it is not a glamors business we take so much of what the ladies do and put up with for granted. I always get excited for the ladies that retire and move on, I anticipate there new life and want to believe that it is better. I know that's not always the way it turns out, but those that know me know that I am a romantic.
