Sensual Erin 33935 Report post Posted May 25, 2011 Today is a sad day for those of us that tune into CNBC every morning to watch the morning squawk box breakfast before the markets open. He was a proud American, had great wit and humor, wasn't afraid to give his opinion and I really enjoyed him. He will be missed by those who have known him well and woken up to his morning report. The CNBC episode that I will never forget is the Mark Haines live reporting of 911. His emotional reporting of the tragedy was top notch. If you did not see this you missed live television at it's best. Here's a quick clip. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTppoBZKC4s http://www.cnbc.com/id/15838129/site/14081545/

Sensual Erin 33935 Report post Posted May 26, 2011 Thank you. Not many Canadians I guess know of him, and you were my only commenter today, and appreciate your response. He was a Wall Street anchor legend and will be missed.
