135 arrested in anti-prostitution sting

 

Reacting to a flood of community complaints about men seeking out prostitutes in Parkdale and King West Village, police conducted the undercover operation, with female officers from 14 Division posing as prostitutes and male officers as johns.

 

Those arrested face a total of 157 criminal charges, from communicating for the purpose of obtaining the sexual services of a prostitute to numerous cocaine and marijuana-related offences.
