Would be excessive to call law enforcement for someone offering services from their residence with a few visitors a day. But if a few providers operates from the same location bringing more traffic, unwanted visitors, excessive noise and potentially dangerous situations, complaints would be justified. Wasn't it an actual prostitute on the street? "Does anyone know if it's worth calling the cops to report prostitution on a residential street? Any chance they'd tell them to move along?" is what the post says. You can't exactly tell somebody in a home to move along.

Street prostitution would certainly be different. 13 minutes ago, SteveF said: You can't exactly tell somebody in a home to move along. No. But they can enforce bylaws in regard to home businesses on top of other potential infractions.
