Guy1961 358 Report post Posted June 15, 2011 a couple of days ago I tried to sync my htc desire phone using the HTC Sync software that I got with my phone. No joy I downloaded the latest drivers, got the latest version of htc sync, still no joy. When ever I try to synch my phne, I get a message on my phone that it cannot find teh HTC sync software on my PC. I have tried different USB ports, starting HTC Sync before I connect my phone to the pc. Nothing seems to work. any thoughts? Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

toine 30556 Report post Posted June 15, 2011 The HTC support website, and the guide, both say to temporarily turn-off the anti-virus and firewall before attempting to install their HTC sync software.
