castle 38816 Report post Posted October 29, 2011 I love sharks. Everything about them. I think they're one of the most beautiful and perfect creations ever made (aside from women :p). The Great White in particular was born perfect and has never had to evolve since creation. My lifelong dream is actually to go swimming with Great Whites in Australia...not in a cage....actually swim with them. I love the movie Jaws, it's one of my favorite movies....but I hate how it's demonized sharks in society's mind. Great Whites are now an endangered species because of that movie. Being killed just for their dorsal fins to be sold at tourist shops as souvenirs. Peter Benchley, the author of Jaws...was actually one of the biggest advocates for sharks before his death.
