Megan'sTouch 23875 Report post Posted June 28, 2011 I'll admit, I don't listen to the radio too often, but today I was in the car and I tuned in to either 106.1 or 106.9 and I heard an advertisement for the Nu Den. I wonder what made them decide to advertise on the radio? The ad sounded like more of a brothel ad than a strip club ad.
scribbles 6031 Report post Posted June 28, 2011 I've heard ads for the Playmate, too, though it's been a while. I think the competition amongst clubs is impacting business, so some clubs are hunting for new ways to increase traffic. When I lived in Portland (Oregon) it was similar, and there was a tremendous number of clubs there. I wonder how effective it truly is.
Guest W***ledi*Time Report post Posted June 28, 2011 Ralph's Place, the only strip club around these parts, also advertises on the radio.
Kimberly-Shea 28280 Report post Posted June 29, 2011 I think it might be a great advertising tool for clubs, being that drivers on their daily commute are a captive audience. (sometimes all it takes is too plant the seed..) As well, newspapers sales have been down for years so I assume the revenue gained from those costly ads might no longer be worth it?
