Guest E*******h S******s Report post Posted July 5, 2011 When I was a kid, I wanted to be an actress. Stage rather than movies or TV. Now, I think my dream job would be as a "life coach". You get to tell other people how to live their lives and rather than getting pissed with you (as family and friends will), they pay you for it instead. :icon_mrgreen: Very cool thread Meg. :icon_wink:

Capital Hunter 18263 Report post Posted July 5, 2011 My dream job was to be a university professor when I was a kid, as my mother was then. I studied for many years all the way to Ph.D. in order to land that dream job lol. My dream came true for a couple of years only to realize that it wasn't a dream but rather a nightmare LOL!!!!!. I quit and started a consulting engineer office job instead. My dream job is what I do now. I have no plans to retire anytime soon because I have only 10-12 years of pension as I studied for first 30 years of my life to get my childhood dream job LOL!!!. Guest S**a*Q Report post Posted July 5, 2011 Dream job... is my job at the moment. :) I work like next to no hours, I travel and I get to meet great people while making money. To make it my dream job, mom n dad would approve or at least be like "Well whatever, at least she's happy" about it me being a physical sexual therapist. I did want to join the military, (filled out my papers, a bunch of times) now a crap knee and a missing kidney stop me from that but at least I'm still working with semen, ha ha!!!. castle 38816 Report post Posted July 5, 2011 but at least I'm still working with semen, ha ha!!!. Sara you never fail to crack me up! You're welcome to get me to "stand at attention" and to order around my semen any day. They're good little soldiers. Nope. No Dishonerable Discharge where they're involved. All discharges are very much honerable :p My dreamjob was always screenwriting. I was actually taking some courses and was getting pretty good at it but got caught in the 9 to 5 grind and that was the end of that :( the only screenplay I could write now would be a porn lol. On second thought....hmmmmm...The Erotic Adventures Of The CleoSaraus! It's got a good ring to it, no? Posted via Mobile Device
Winnipegcub 21293 Report post Posted July 5, 2011 My dreamjob has always remained the same. Never really came close though. I wanted/want to be a Hotel General Manager at one of the top 5 hotels in the world. I would love the diversity and responsibility, I like the service/hospitality industry, and would get to meet some of the world's celebrities and leaders. Some who know may say I'm a pleaser. (hehe) That kinda job would really draw upon those skills. Of course SP's would stay for free! Cub
Meg O'Ryan 266444 Report post Posted July 6, 2011 First dream job was ballerina til my body decided bodacious rather than anorexic was it's preference. Then, singer/dancer/movie star entered into the picture but wasn't motivated enough to even try; plus, being super shy didn't help. Since then, I went to college and university and worked in my studied field for a bit. Changed careers TOTALLY and recently retired. Now, I would have loved to be a party planner for the insanely rich and/or famous!

thedriver 6179 Report post Posted July 6, 2011 My dream job when I was young was to be a helicopter pilot or stunt driver. Now it would be a motorcycle traval journalist. Maybe I could take some courses and try freelancing when I retire. I am going to need the extra money if I want to travel!
Guest **cely***r***ne Report post Posted July 6, 2011 I always wanted to be a rock star. A marvelously tattooed, hardcore sexy bitch - with a guitar and a motorcycle. All you're missing is a guitar and a motorcycle............hot damn that's a fuckin' sexy mental image! A race car driver would be pretty sexy too....you'd have to be your own mechanic though...we gotta get you all dirty and greasy ;) ........Jesus!.... Nicolette Vaughn 294340 Report post Posted July 6, 2011 My dream job when I was young was to be an entrepreneur who would create one of those gadgets you'd see on infomercials that would be easy to create and useful in everyday life. Something like those gloves that are used to peel potatoes. I used to watch them all the time. lol. Even at a young age, I had always been aware that I was meant to work for myself. Katherine of Halifax 113932 Report post Posted July 6, 2011 As a kid I was a witch in my mind and I though that was the only sensible way of doing things. I have happily followed this path all my life and its been very rewarding. So along with being a SP I am a practicing witch and I truly love what I am doing. Would I change anything? No not one thing. Most of my regular visitors know this big part of me, some are amused, some not. I do however see guests that would like a little prayer or spell cast, I am always thrilled to do my best to help. I feel my life is perfect work wise, I am happy, whole and complete. Sweet Angel 1838 Report post Posted July 6, 2011 The sky is the limit! What did you want to be as a kid? What would you be now if you could change the past? Around the age of 5 I wanted to be like my stepsister, a nurse. At an older age I entertained the thought of becoming an Egyptologist or a stripper. I guess none worked out, but that's okay, this business isn't really all that bad, lol. ;)
qwertyaccount 15793 Report post Posted July 6, 2011 Jaime Rascone, Professional Prostitute-Tester, Has a Better Job Than You Jaime Rascone is no different than the rest of us in that the erstwhile DJ needs to grab the occasional odd job to make ends meet. But the Chilean lothario has all of us beat by holding the type of fantasy job that just sounds too good to be true: Quality Control in a brothel. Rascone, an occasional male model and DJ, first happened upon Fiorella Companions in Santiago, Chile while working on a story about the country's sexual revolution. He was offered the gig by Madam Fiorella, who needed somebody to provide that final "interview" in her hiring process. It goes like this: girls who are interested in working as VIP escorts for Fiorella have to undergo interviews, psychological testing, and a photo session. The applicants are whittled down to a final six, who are then fucked one after the other in a single day by Jaime. He takes diligent notes on, say, how they moved their hips and whether their groans were adequate, and makes recommendations to the madam. There is paperwork involved, which we find hysterical. The article describing Jaime's profession really needs to be seen to be believed, as it describes the yawning coffee-slurping Director of Quality Control starting out his day on "Mariana the stewardess" after making a phone call to a nightclub he manages. His day continues in this fashion as each candidate, all in their early 20's, make their way into his "office" (which is equipped, of course, with a stripper pole and a suitcase full of condoms.) Each one is dutifully fucked, evaluated, showered off, and then the Prostitute Conveyor Belt gets fired up again. The strain of the job is actually such that he can only do it once a month, testing around seventy girls or so a year. And, in fact, the article closes with a kind of haunting image of the guy getting dressed after a hard day's work with huge dark bags under his eyes. Of course, that comes after an intense description of a volcanic threesome that ended the day so, y'know. We want to believe that this, like any other job, just eventually gets really boring and tedious, inevitably draining you of your soul and will to live. And, like all jobs in the sex industry, that it eventually gets drained of any sort of visceral joy after a while and burns the "lucky" recipient out. The article seems to head fake in that direction. But the adolescent parts of our brains don't buy it. As we all said simultaneously, "Un Buen Trabajo, indeed." Click on the pic below to check out Jaime Rascone on the clock.

Nathalie L 112512 Report post Posted July 6, 2011 When I was younger I wanted to be a lawyer because my mother and I watched "Ally McBeal" together. My grandmother (the same one that stole "George") told me that lawyers "are a bunch of cheats and liars". So I dropped that idea pretty quickly. Interestingly enough, I wanted to be a sexologist after that. I guess we all go back to our roots, eh? I'm an SP saving up for Law school now, go figure ;)
LeeRichards 177238 Report post Posted July 7, 2011 Hmm... Well in my early days my dream job was to be an entrepreneur, run my own lemonade stand to start. That didn't work because I lived in the country on a farm and only one or two vehicles a day may go by. 20 cents a day profit wasn't gonna cut it. Then I decided my dream job was to be a big rock star and play in a big rock n roll band...so I promptly join band class and learned to play the trumpet...yup that didn't work...I was no Herb Alpert either...;) I was a pretty good hockey player and got drafted to WHL so I thought my dream job was to play hockey and be a star and make millions. Blew out my knee on the second day of camp and ... that dream was gone. Off to the beer drinking league I went. Then off to college I went to decide what my dream job might be. Partied for a couple years, attended the odd class and then suddenly...BINGO.... I decided what my dream job was gonna be... I wanted to be a Commercial Pilot....fly big planes and travel the world. So I went and got the ball rolling and then my eye test failed due to a slightly lazy left eye at that time. Shit. What now ? Then I said f*** it I am just gonna be either a Gigalo or work in the Oil Business. So here I am today in the Oil Business still ;);) Happy as can be :) Oops...I guess the thread didn't ask for my life story
SamanthaEvans 166767 Report post Posted July 7, 2011 When I was a kid, I wanted to be writer, or maybe a pianist. When I got older, I wanted to be a university professor and duly assembled most of the box tops required for that, focused in a specific, not-very-common area of inquiry. But then I had children and could only find work in the States. My kids' father didn't want to move to the States. So, I left academe and worked as a freelance writer and editor for a long time. I still write. I've been slowly working on a non-fiction book for a couple of years. I'm also an artist and part of my income comes from my painting. I would love to have a lot of free time just to paint. When I retire, I will write and paint. The two satisfy different aspects of who I am and keep me balanced.
