Holly Ramsay of the North Star Sports Bar Pub says she's been told the city will close the bar and put about 10 exotic dancers and other staff out of work. Ramsay is questioning why tax dollars are being used to kill their jobs. City council passed a resolution Monday night approving the purchase of the property at 100 Clark St. Ramsay says she'd heard rumours of the city's interest, but she never imagined councillors would commit public funds to close the bar down."
