A Comparative Review of Strip Bars in Ottawa - Gatineau Region

This is a long article since it is a comparative review. If you would prefer a brief article to the point, please choose the option and move to the next thread.

 

I was cruising (Ottawa and Montreal) strip bars for years before switching to escorts last fall (and now for a short while I have switched back to strip bars to see my good old friends still working as dancers). I thought it may be useful if I start a thread on the strip bars in the National Capital Region to share my views and how I think these bars rank in comparison.

 

It is important to note that the review and ranking are based on my personal experience and views and may vary widely for individuals and must not in any way reflect badly on any bar or individuals in the bar reviewed. Also if a bar is missing from my review it simply means my experience with that bar is not wide enough or recent enough to comment.

 

Please feel free to share your views or add your comments to this thread that may confirm or be contrary to mine.

 

 

 

Barbarella’s Diamonds:

 

This was my most favourite bar. I met the most beautiful and classy girls in this bar. They have younger dancers in a classy environment. It has become an even better environment to have fun and relax with friendly young classy and beautiful girls. Used to be a bar with good mileage, however, recently the mileage has dropped because of the new bylaw closing the private rooms but dancers still try to give as much mileage as they possibly can.

 

My most favourite dancer in this bar : Mary Jane – A beautiful classy dancer studying in the college and used to dance there for several years. Soft fair skin and big absolutely beautiful gorgeous blue eyes with very friendly attitude. Regretfully she stopped dancing there last year as she graduated from college. Another favourite (Suzy tall slim brunette) also stopped dancing recently as she went back to school.

 

Present favourites: Kitty (beautiful brunette), Divine (beautiful blonde) and a new girl called Sin (incredible soft skin, I hope I spelled her name right) and Missy (pretty brunette).

 

Pigale:

 

Located in Gatineau, it is a classy bar. I haven’t been there for a long time, however, the mileage used to be low (dancers had to keep their underwear even for $20 dances - not so anymore), the mileage has improved in recent year. Some more mature dancers (with possibly not real breasts) and a day time waitress with attitudes. Good place to have a beer or wine and watch the stage after a hard day, as many dancers, some very good looking dancers will perform one after the other.

 

 

Barefax:

 

Located in Downtown Ottawa it has a large number of girls (shared with Pigale) in the evenings only. Not the friendliest bar, but have a large number of good looking girls. The mileage used to be low (dancers had to keep their underwear even for $20 dances. Not so anymore), the mileage has improved recent year. Best to have a beer or wine and watch the stage. The open champaign rooms are upstairs and the air is not fresh within the bars (no air circulation).

 

 

Playmate Club:

 

Used to be my favourite bar. They had many dancers with best mileage in town. As a result of new bylaw, many dancers left and nowadays they have relatively fewer dancers with lower (than previously) mileage. It is a friendly environment as many regular customers chat with girls and the staff. The environment has improved since they have new staff.

 

My most favourite dancer in this bar: Nadia – A beautiful brunette born in Canada who lives in Montreal with roots from Slovenia. Very friendly girl with soft fair skin. Regretfully she stopped dancing couple of years ago as she graduated from university and started working in her field.

 

My present favourites: Suzy (a blonde) and Jessica (a brunette with glasses) both look younger than their age and Tamika who is a very cute small very young looking doll with great attitude and friendly dark brunette (spanish) Mia and small French Jessica with cute accent who swiches bars all the time.

 

Nu Den :

 

Very large bar with plenty of evening girls. The stage is so far up that it is not possible to see the girls on the stage. Not a place to sit and watch the girls. Average mileage in the champaign room. The day time bouncer is walking all the time and preventing people from having fun and girls making money.

 

My most favourite dancer in this bar – Jessica a very cute tall and slim short hair brunette with soft fair skin and very friendly attitude and Vlasta (a very sexy dancer of dutch origin). Regretfully Jessica has stopped dancing as she found another job last year. But I think Valaska is still there. My long time favorite Porshia (aka Foxy at CC) also dances at NuDen. She is a beautiful natural blonde doll who I met 7 years ago at Cabaret Canada when she was only 18. A real doll and friendly lady/

 

Club 77 :

 

I haven’t been to this bar for years and I am not sure if they are still open. Used to be a great bar offering $10 dancers many years ago packed with customers from Ottawa and Gatineau. They changed to $20 dances (although no contact $10 and $15 is available) and lost most of their customers. They have a big sign in the Champaign rooms saying NO KISSING OF BREASTS and most dancers obey that. Not a high mileage bar and too far to drive from Ottawa.

 

My most favourite dancer in this bar – Virginie – A beautiful brunette (half Hungarian) travelling from Montreal used to dance there many years ago and regretfully has stopped dancing many years ago.

 

Cabaret Taboo:

 

Used to be my favourite bar with high mileage. It has quiet down recently and some staff with attitudes. The place used to be packed with customers day and night with many young beautiful girls. Not so anymore.

 

My most favourite dancer in this bar – Bailey – A beautiful brunette (Neve Compbell looker like at 21) with very friendly attitude. I think she has stopped dancing. My present favourite is Jennifer who just started college and is now dancing part time there.

 

Cabaret le Pink:

 

A large bar with plenty of late evening girls. They are closed daytime and real action starts only are after 9 or even 10:00 pm. A good place to sit and enjoy the stage. The mileage is relatively low in the Champaign rooms. Champaign rooms are open (not fully private).

Environment most important for those who prefer good time with good Air conditioning system

Class I guess important for majority

 

The main goal of this review is for individuals to read the thread and depending on their like and dislikes (and advantages and disadvantages described for each bar from of course my perspective) to use it as a rough guidelines as which bar may best suit what they are looking for.

 

I am also hoping for individuals to jump in and add their comments from their perspective in order to provide a less subjective review.

Barbarellas is my favorite, I like the ladies and the staff

-they changed the buffet the food is nice now! Very friendly club , not too big, good music and on saturday it s 80 s music I love it

-Favorite girls: Jenny tall blonde, kitty , Jasmine, Lola the hottest woman on earth!

 

Barefax Nice but too many stairs...also the homeless opening the door for you is not very appealing. It is very sad for him, but this is a strip club!

-girls are very friendly

 

NuDen too big, cold admosphere....

I agree that Barbarella is a very nice strip club, with plenty of beautiful women.

 

But I guess all clubs go in phases and so does the level of quality.

I remember Barefax 10 years was a great club and in fact was THE club to go. A couple of years later, was still a great club but has become snobby with a bitchy attitude.

Now, it's back to a friendly staff and beautiful girls who are down-to-earth, friendly and can actually talk to you.

 

Playmate went through a similar cycle (but without the snobby part because it has never been a high-class club). But last time I went there, decent number of girls and pretty attractive.

 

Saturday evening at the NuDen, holy molly!

A selection of top models looking girls, unbelievable! 20 girls, 19 very attractive. Very good ratio.

 

And one club that was omitted from the original list is the Club 61 in Aylmer.

But nah, nothing really to talk about.

I think you are referring to Cabaret Canada. It used to be a fairly good place (never classy) with good looking young girls and high mileage. The beautiful blonde Foxy was my most favourite. A real doll. She is no longer there. Not anymore. Things have changed. I haven't been there for a while. The last time I was there was a few years ago and it was real bad. There is a review by someone on CC on the other board who has been there recently, if you are interested.

Actually I am surprised to hear that. Mileage has come down since the bylaw, I admit, but still in Ottawa they can take the underwear off in the champaign room. Not so in Montreal (which is $10).

 

If you are looking for mileage only, then I recommend Taboo, Barbs abd Playmates. Mileage not as high as Frontiere, or HillTop of course (and not as expensive) way out at the Quebec Ontario border. Frontier stip bar near Montreal is a high milage bar too with FS. Rigeau was a high mileage bar with great looking girls but unfortunately they closed 2 years ago

It's actually Rigaud and it was a great place to stop on a trip to or from Montreal. It was always one of my favorite places, it was like Pigale but with full service.

 

The closest place that I'm aware of is called Cabaret in Grenville, QC near Hawkesbury. Hit and miss for talent, it's been awhile since i've checked it out.

There are two good clubs this side of Montreal, Hilltop in Vaudreuil/Dorion and Club Frontiere in Riviere Beaudette.

Now you're getting back in my "hay days" if you visited the dirty dollar, you must of visited the other West end strip bar...like right out in Manotick, at Drummonds...I got my first BBBJCIM at that strip club, mid afternoon to boot, nobody around, probably cost me about 2-3 bills, but it was fun. T-Kila the drink?...back years ago vacationing in Cancun, was ssoooooo intoxicated I was stoned:o....than sick for a day and half, learned my lesson, stay away from t-kila pops...and stick to one drink...rum and coke, or beer.
