Guest W***ledi*Time Report post Posted July 14, 2011 The accused rapist is acting as his own defense attorney. Defense attorneys have the right to view the evidence that is being used against their clients. The state supreme court in Washington has ruled that providing such copies of evidence is essential, because defense lawyers and defendants must have an opportunity to review and challenge the evidence against them while preparing their defense cases. The accused must view the evidence in a designated interview room, while supervised by an investigator and prison guards. While representing himself, the accused will not be allowed to directly question his alleged victims in court. His questions must be screened, and will be asked indirectly through the judge. http://abcnews.go.com/US/washington-rapist-watches-child-porn-jail-law-loophole/story?id=14061524
