Nova Scotia has traditional trading ties to the Caribbean, going back over three centuries. But, to make a long story short, thanks to the Nova Scotia Liquor Commission, I'm drinking a Red Stripe right now! And nope, no twist off.

crankF 12893 Report post Posted September 5, 2012 You know you are old when you can remember watching the Beatles the first time they appeared on Ed Sullivan, and enduring your older sister's and cousin's hysterical shrieks. Dad said,"Do they actually call that music?".

MisterMike 1873 Report post Posted September 13, 2012 You remember a world after the "pill" was developed and AIDS didn't exist. However if you remember the details you're not that old. You remember Expo 67 and all the fun you had there getting laid behind the British Pavilion. Ah, yes; getting old. It sucks but sure beats the alternative.

Reuben Sandwich 13841 Report post Posted October 26, 2012 Every fall we would burn all the leaves, branches and tent caterpillar nests in an old metal garbage can. When I lived in Vancouver in the early 80's, they were down to one day of the year for burning yard waste and the whole valley would fill up with smoke. It smelled like..............Victory.
