oldblueeyez 15475 Report post Posted February 3, 2012 In the whole scheme of things, none of us are ever old. 100 years is a flash in the cosmic pan. That being said, some of us age better than others and look better at 50 than 25. Case in point: I think with exercise, diet, and natural supplements, we can keep our hotness to at least 60. And we have to keep that boyish twinkle in our eyes! ;-) Additional Comments: HA HA! I want to go drinking with this dude!!!!!!

Horndog66 14104 Report post Posted May 1, 2012 (edited) You know you're old when you know what a Mello Roll* is, and you ate them when you were a kid. *They were cylindrical plugs of ice cream wrapped in cardboard like the core of toilet paper rolls. There were specially shaped single and double (side by side) cones for them. You had to unwrap the cardboard in the cone before eating. Their advantage was that you knew exactly how much ice cream you were getting, rather that taking a chance with whoever was doing the scooping. Athos 108589 Report post Posted May 2, 2012 Oh My I remember that . Did you have to open the lid and you slide them out between bars. What a nice walk down memory lane. Thank you@@ Absolutely .... I remember a corner store two blocks from my house growing up in Ottawa. They had one of these outside, that was always locked, and another inside. I remember when I was first allowed to walk the couple of blocks myself. Couldn't have been more than 5 ... Also walked to school on my own. Today kids are escorted to school. I'd walk down to the store, get a coke, and hang out with my friends. Playing games, throwing stones, generally getting into mischief. The only requirement was to be home for dinner. Don't know how we coordinated everything without cell phones.
