That said, there are many, many fine officers that risk their lives everyday to protect us that we never ever hear about. An update: the police have ruled out any third-party involvement after the autopsy, but toxicology results aren't back yet (and AFAIK they usually take a couple of weeks) so no official cause of death has been announced.
