Satin 1237 Report post Posted July 21, 2011 Hey all. So it appears our wonderful new shiny Mac Lion 10.7 has as expected some know issues including breaking CERB chat which is Flash-based. This document outlines the known issues with 10.7 with other applications : http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/905/cpsid_90508.html (Thanks Mr. Goldfinger) You will see they suggest a 'tab' and 'spacebar' solution to bring the Flash dialog back into focus but attempts on my Macbook Pro to do that have not worked. :(

dgb123 110 Report post Posted July 22, 2011 It took me a while to find system preferences for the flash player. I use chrome and flash is built in. So just in case anyone else is still struggling with this here is what to do: - once you get the popup asking about your camera and mic right click on it. - click on "global settings..." - click on the "Camera and Mic" tab at the top - select "Block all sites from using the camera and microphone" I had to quit chrome and restart it, but now chat works fine. SAFARI USERS: If you are doing this with safari global settings takes you to an adobe web page instead of a pop-up. It looks like you've been redirected to a help page, but if you look for "Settings Manager" and then under it "Global Privacy Settings panel" it will bring up a panel that you can use to make the same change.
