LL is the place where 99% of the ads are, it's pretty rare for a provider to not advertise on there. Of course there are tons of scams but the reason it has so many scams is because it's the most commonly used platform by far. If you are able to afford (2x price) high end providers some of them only advertise on some combination of Twitter, Tryst and the Halifax section on MERB. Where else to look? Try a trip to Toronto or Montreal. I find Halifax basically a wasteland these days.
 

I just got back from 4 days in Montreal and it was a great time. Countless options and you can find just about anything you desire. I did a little MERB searching before going and picked out a few ladies that had positive reviews and I certainly didn’t leave disappointed. There are endless touristy things to do in Montreal in the summer, so it’s perfect for mixing a little pleasure with leisure.

This is a good point if you have the ability to slip away for a few days. Montreal is pretty close and has tons of options, service is getting to be quite a bit cheaper than in Halifax too.

True but the thing with Twitter is you can't search for providers in a specific area and end up finding them all across Canada and the US. For people who enjoy or can afford FMTY that's great but for people who don't/can't it's much more difficult to find locals that way. Most of the locals who have Twitter in NS also post on here and LL as well.

To me Twitter is better used to verify a provider is real and to get a little insight into them (plus a few extra pics!). Or to find some providers I might like to see the next time I'm travelling to either their home base or somewhere they might be touring at the time.

True but you can find providers through other provider's Twitter accounts too. You can see who they interact with or might be touring with. They retweet each other, follow one another, etc. If we take Blaire for example she was tagged in a post from another provider named Aria Ray talking about them touring together and offering duos in Calgary and I now follow Aria. You can easily go down a deep rabbit hole just bouncing around different provider twitter account if you start with one and just scroll or check who they follow. Again this doesn't help overly for us in the maritimes unless some providers you follow decide to tour here or you start talking to them and seeing if they're open to a tour but if absolutely nothing else you'll see some great pictures along your way.

I can't imagine any provider with a Twitter not linking it there or at the very least their link tree, if they have one. Not only that, but Tryst is the most reputable advertising site in Canada at the moment and so you're more likely to find more reputable providers there as well. As for searching through Twitter, providers will often engage with other providers local to them or where they plan on touring. Tryst is just a pain in the ass to sign up for and Twitter is a cesspool of social media nonsense. Frankly, being online these days is just a pain. Nobody wants to have honest discussions about any topic, let alone sexuality. All there is out there is  bitching and bullshit and scammers. I completely agree, I can't believe the amount of scammers on LL for Halifax alone, I realize they are doing it from out of province and just dropping their ads in every city's forums, but in the last year alone, the ratio of legit providers vs scammers has completely flipped, it seemed to me there was one out of 10 or 15 were scammers, now 1 out 3, sometimes even half the posts are total BS. Using twitter takes a LONG time to sift through, and most of them you'd have to travel to get to them or do a FMTY arrangement with them. Even Merb and Caf are slowly going the same route as LL and Tryst and Message Republic, old irrelevant posts stick around that have that provider being long-gone, or scammers flood the market and make you have to vet the provider.I'm even seeing the trend of providers that used to be legit and honest beginning to realize that they can scam as well, costing off of their old good reputation, are are now cashing in on advances and pay-up-front arrangements only to be no-shows or providing fake addresses then ghosting.

I'm noticing some escorts taking to "kinda/sorta" advertising on Adult Friend Finder's community boards. The old "DM for details" so the site doesn't kick them off. Of course, those are pretty much all in the U.S. and Europe and probably a scam. Most of the dating sites are nothing but scams now anyway. So many obvious ones but some a little more clever. Told me she lived alone in an apartment building and gave me the address. I laughed my ass off because the building is literally only about 3 blocks away. Only a $250 one time fee that after we meet gets completely refunded and you will be approved from then on and come fuck me anytime you want."
