Cato 160314 Report post Posted August 1, 2011 (edited) August 1 was celebrated in mediaeval Europe as Lammas Day (loaf-mass day), the beginning of the grain harvest. Shakespeare also tells us that Lammas Eve was Juliet's birthday. To my own 'Juliet' here on cerb, love and greetings. "Have mine eyes loved till now? Forswear it, sight. I never saw true beauty till this night." A Happy Lammas Day to all. ;) Edited August 1, 2011 by Cato
