A friend of mine found his wife on POF. Which is exactly what most of us here are NOT looking for! And "friends with benefits"? No such thing. When seeing a non-sp there's no such thing as a "no strings" relationship. That friend of mine and his wife? They started out as "friends with benefits". OH my yes!! As a guy who no longer frequents POF I have some stories that could really curl your hair (In Sara's case uncurl) and I really should write a book!

 

Most encounters I had did not survive the first date. They were all looking for a husband and a significant commitment and most of them are probably still looking. While there definitely are women on POF and other dating sites who are just looking to get laid (I've known many guys who've gotten sex this way), those same women are also likely to call/text you a million times a day, may decide at the end of the dinner date that they're tired and just want to go home, let you know that oral sex is something they're just not into, etc etc.

 

All normal things that come up with dating, which is why, when a guy just wants to have sex with a hot girl who's actually into sex, they call US.

 

You don't have to spend three hours at dinner with me to get into my pants (although I do make a fine dinner companion :D ). I'm not going to kiss your cheek at the front door then leave you on the doorstep. When you call Cleo, you know what you're going to get, guaranteed. Now in my personal life, if you take me out on a date, things are different. Very different. Sex isn't even guaranteed (GASP!) Because I, like many, many women, don't 'date' for sex.
