boomer01 5564 Report post Posted August 18, 2011 A fellow Cerb friend of mine sent me a PM telling me how he met a girl named xxxxx who was advertising via a friend on CL. He went to meet her a it was a setup and he was robbed of his money but luckily was able to leave unharmed but def shaken up. He wasn't comfortable posting this himself so I said I would. All of us fellow Cerb members need to warn one another about these scam artists on CL. This situation could have been a lot worse for sure. We all know about all the BS on Cl and this goes on to prove that we should all take great caution in seeing anyone on that site. I myself feel we have many wonderful honest girls here on Cerb and need not to look to any other site. FYI the ad that was posted for this girl seems to be gone ...he told me it was at a Apt. building off of *********** ) He thinks he remembers the phone # to be ******** Lets all be careful and stick to Cerb address, name and phone number has been removed by the mod 2 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I've seen so many girls using fake images and I always send them a note and have mentioned to others on there that they are fake. That really pisses them off and they delete their ads right away. Couldn't posting someone's address and phone number put them in danger? Seems fishy..I'm all for warning people about dangers, but this girl didn't even belong to this forum and just reminds me of some of the former "owners" I've worked for that make up stuff with multiple handles and have said bad stuff about some girls *shudders*. Tell the story and asked to be PM'd you should never post anyone's address publicly. The girl may not even live there and the true tenant or anyone residing there could be at serious risk now. Like my dear friend said "Guys stick with the ladies you know and love, we will never mistreat you". I post "there" and have met some very amazing people. As many know I am a true legit CERB lady. I would never put anyone's safety in danger. Anyone that does, will certainly get back what they put out. Karma is a *itch!! There are some cities where escorts are required to buy their own licenses, but we have yet to see a licensed in-call (brothel). No offence to the OP (Boomer), but this is technically second hand information and even though it may be true, I still think it's up to the member to post the information because he is riding on your reputation. CL has no ES section anymore, meaning the ad might have been in therapeutic. To discount all CL TS ads as bogus or whatever other words and condescension seen above is really over the top. ' I have mentioned before, probably will many times over lol, but dissing an entire advertising site at the expense of the legit advertisers who use it is really mean and petty. The site has nothing to do with the quality or perceived lack of quality, just because it may be free to post on it. It is like saying anyone who uses/used it is low class trash, and frankly as a user of that and any other site, that is really offensive. I think we can all agree that CERB is the best environment for establishing an SP / client relationship, BUT we shouldn't dismiss everyone on the other boards which have been discussed here. Some SP's may not be aware of CERB. As for posting the address I in hindsight should not have and I understand why MOD had to remove that info.....and as for going to the police, I think explaining that to his better half may have made that difficult. He as a member of CERB has (or should have) posting privileges. Sorry, but I know of a case of a third hand review (actually a bashing under the guise of a review) of a lady (who btw is one of my favorite ladies) and the "reviewer" has never even met the lady.
