castle 38816 Report post Posted August 20, 2011 Too hard to pick one favorite! Free Bird - Lynyrd Skynyrd The Ballad Of Dwight Fry - Alice Cooper http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVxr63WaRrs Iron Man - Black Sabbath http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MII3ns2KTBc For Those About To Rock (We Salute You) - AC/DC http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shcI6vE-PlE Three Angels - The Headstones Not a big fan of country music, growing up as a little "Fort" before I grew into the "Castle" that I am today, that's all I was exposed to. In my household everything else was "the devil's music"....and it bored. The. SHIT...of me! So when I heard the dark nature of the lyrics in this Johnny Cash song...it literally blew my mind. Opened up a whole new world of music for me...until then I didn't know songs were even allowed to have dark lyrics about ghosts in the skies chasing demonic red eyed cows on horses snorting fire. This song actually gave me nightmares. I shit you not. And I wanted MORE! :D So even though I'm not a country fan per se....this still remains one of my favorite songs: Ghost Riders In The Sky

Guest K***e D****ls Report post Posted August 22, 2011 Sweet Child O'Mine - GNR Try Taken By Trees version of Sweet Child Of Mine. Softer and with piano instead of guitar but a very sexy version. My favourite of all time would probably be Tommy Petty "Free Falling" (I love the John Mayer version as well). That could very well change within 5 minutes though. ;)

Guest Ou**or**n Report post Posted September 5, 2011 (edited) A song of a thousand covers but one original... Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen One of the best band in the world right now Knights of Cydonia - Muse (would have loved to have been there - talk about a crowd totally into a song) Another great song with Marilyn Manson's cover currently being used in the trailer for the new season of Dexter. I like this version as its the only one with backup singers which I think add nicely... Personal Jesus - Depeche Mode http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zobsc9crRVY Edited September 5, 2011 by Ou**or**n
