SamanthaEvans 166767 Report post Posted August 24, 2011 Bizarre! That men==>clothed; women==>mostly nude; animals==>always nude trope, done in the purported service of animal rights always seems to result in an animal fetish-y thing, since women are pretty quickly equated with the animals and not portrayed as equals with men. When women's bodies are marked up like butchers' diagrams I always wonder whether the message is pro-cannibalism. My head aches . . . .
JuliasUndies 7288 Report post Posted August 24, 2011 Bullshit$%&!@ Money hungry Peta, no longer about saving meat. I wonder if a memberships would qualify for a tax rite-off? Peta is a huge organization that should know the pressures in meat consumption, meat is everywhere..instead of tackling the pressures of meat consumption and abuse that comes with that, they launch a web site about the pressures to being thin and fake? What happened to being real and yourself. This is the wrong fundamental to get their propaganda out there appealing to sexual desires of men and mixing it with propaganda is just cheap not to mention that if anyone isnt going to give up meat, it's men! Money hungry!
