Jabba 18389 Report post Posted August 26, 2011 I don't want to appear to leap to judgement - I'm shocked, but I shouldn't be. No matter how screwed-up it must appear to us, I think mom was just trying to act in the best interests of her son and the community. How indescribably sad this is. Old Dog 179138 Report post Posted August 27, 2011 This situation is not so dissimilar from the banned film, the Titicut Follies about the internment (for lack of a better term) of criminally insane patients. Titicut Follies (1967) Titicut Follies is a black and white 1967 documentary film by Frederick Wiseman about the treatment of inmate / patients at State Hospital for the criminally insane, a Massachusetts Correctional Institution in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. The title is taken from a talent show put on by the hospital's inmates. (The talent show was taken from the Wampanoag name for the nearby Taunton River in their native language). http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=a97_1233076955 (part 1) http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=e5e_1233082303 (part 2) http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=9cc_1233086391 (part 3) Warning, the images on the video are disturbing.
