Amelia Fox 9064 Report post Posted August 10, 2012 Ever consider working out in the evening( after dinner) ? I had some sleep issues a year or so ago,and I jogged at the same time every night, and had a sleep routine that did help me with sleeping. If your still having troubles perhaps consulting with your doctor would be a good idea. Sleepless nights mean dreary days in my experience which ultimately lead to a cranky person(no one wants that lol) I wouldn't recommend you take any medications without talking to your doctor even if there home remedies.. Eagle 1401 Report post Posted August 13, 2012 I tried natural camomile tea at Tim Hortons or at any grocery store and it worked for me. Working out or making love before going to bed might be a good thing as well.
someguy 67067 Report post Posted August 22, 2012 I've tried most of the suggestions, but they don't work. Even my presciption sleeping pills are starting not to work. I try not take them everyday. But I need to get a full night sleep once in awhile. I think it is because i cannot stop thinking about work or CERB :) or the women of CERB:) Maybe I can start counting the women of cerb jumping over my bed. Naw I think that would keep me up. Any other suggestions ? I think this is a common problem.

someguy 67067 Report post Posted December 4, 2012 Hi, I thought I would follow up on this thread, and see if any of the above remedies work for you? I am still having troubles sleeping every night. falling asleep by 2 and up at 6. I take sleeping pills every 3 days and on weekends so that I can ensure that I get couple of good night sleeps each week. So If you have any more new suggestions for me to try. Or if any of the above solutions work for you. Let me know. On a episode of Dr. Oz, A specialist was saying that Melatonin was not for sleeping, but was for resetting your body clock to help you sleep, it does not make you sleep. Also he was saying 3mg of melatonin was too much and that you only needed 1mg.
Sweet Emily J 172062 Report post Posted December 4, 2012 Orgasms! The trusted, tried and true solution to just about anything that ails ya! ;) My all natural suggestion to you: Masturbate 3 times in a row. :dncdick::dncdick::dncdick: If that doesn't work, do it twice more. ...Pretty sure you won't be able to stay awake after that, no matter how hard you try. What have you got to lose? ;)
Nicolette Vaughn 294340 Report post Posted December 4, 2012 It's 4:58 am and got home after last appt at 11:15 and fell asleep around 11:45. I know I need 2-3 hours of more sleep and it's not happening. What's going to happen is I'm going to start getting tired around the time I'm supposed to wake up and start my day ( usually around 9 am) with cleaning, advertising and getting ready for the day. So damn frustrating. Maybe I'll pop a melatonin.
someguy 67067 Report post Posted January 24, 2013 Hi I was watching dr. OZ and one of the guest said that Passion Flower powder was suppose to help, I bought some capsules, but they did not seem to work. I am still having troubles sleeping. Only sleeping pills work, but I take them only once every three days at most. Don't want to get dependent. I also tried black cherry juice, but didn't work either. Have either of these two remedies work anyone else? Any other suggestions :(

EnjoyYouth 243 Report post Posted February 16, 2013 Take the Herbal remedy called "Gaba" 600mg. Don't settle for less mg. You can get it at the Health Food Store on York St. Blue Bottle. I used it to get off Marijuana. Took 8 in total before bed (10:00pm) starting from 4:00pm. Now I'm only taking 4 after a month of use. Oh, Marijuana will Cure it too. Hahaha. You must Take a Vitamin B complex in the morning to help your body absorb the Gaba at night.

There are a lot of article about this, just google it, They say 80% of people have a magnesium deficiency, It's envolved in 325 chemical functions in the body. Nicolette Vaughn 294340 Report post Posted March 22, 2013 I'm open to trying anything for a good night's sleep since it is affecting my job now and not being able to wake up because I didn't sleep enough the night before. The next day I'm dead tired and have to take a nap if I'm up early and that screws up my sleep schedule from there on out. I'm trying this tonight....10 free hours of white noise... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNqERBWaJeM. Reminds me of sleeping on a red eye flight. lol. Gnite!! someguy 67067 Report post Posted March 22, 2013 I've been taking Magnesium supplements, Natural Calm is a good product. It's help me sleep better, plus no brain fog, twitchy muscles, better blood sugar, lower my cholesterol and blood pressure is normal. and several other benefits. It's a lot cheaper to order this and other supplements from the states.
