mrrnice2 157005 Report post Posted September 24, 2011 What are some phrases or sentences that when you hear them, you KNOW that what they REALLY mean? Two examples from me. As a teacher I knew that when a parent came in and said, " I know that my son is not an angel, but .....", that as soon as I heard those words I was dealing with a totally non-supportive parent. Or, the worst. When you read on a box the words. "Some assembly required". It really means that to put that BBQ together or worse still, the Barbie Boat, that it will consume many hours of your time.
