Edward Bear....hmmmmm

Did you know that Edward Bear is Winnie the Pooh's proper name??? Winnie is just his nickname, Edward was his real name.

Now that is off my chest, Edward Bear was and is one of Quentin Tarantino's favourite bands, he considered them the Beatles of Canada.

Quentin Tarantino made Pulp Fiction.

This is the opening scene performed by one of the quintessential surf guitar gods of ALL time....

Dick Dale - Miserlou

Another movie, a war movie, had a sort of surrealistic song playing, while driving in a car

The movie Three Kings-Chicago's If You Leave Me Now

Apt that the Queen celebrates her 60th anniversary today that we have a couple of songs that are attributed to the British band of the same name....

Of course Brian May was the musical sound of Queen... Freddie Mercury has his vocals but Brian May had that unique guitar sound....

so without further ado....

Brian May and Friends (including Eddie Van Halen) - Starfleet Project

AC/DC....

Alright.

The core of the Young brothers has remained stable but the surrounding players have changed from time to time. When Phil Rudd left the band, Chris Slade was asked to join as the drummer.

Chris Slade was a former member of Uriah Heep.

Neil Diamond cameo'd in and was a major plot point in the not so good 2001 movie Saving Silverman.

That movie also featured Jack Black, who is best know musically as a member of Tenacious D, however, here he is as a member of Barry Jive and the Uptown Five singing Let's Get It On from the movie High Fidelity

I wasn't sure, almost thought he was lip syncing, but did a check, apparently he actually was singing

But couldn't keep the idea of lip syncing out of my head, so without further ado, the kings of lip sync

Speaking of Roy, Mr. Roy Buchanan doing a cover of Sweet Dreams

Well I thought of using the Eurythmics Sweet Dreams, but then I recall that they also did a little song Here Comes The Rain Again, which seems appropriate since a few songs back it was songs about rain and by me posting this song, well here comes the rain again LOL
