orallover 100 Report post Posted November 30, 2011 Being new to all of this, I was wondering if tipping was expected/encouraged??? I would hate to commit a faux pas. And it would seem in bad taste to ask after an appointment.
Guest W***ledi*Time Report post Posted November 30, 2011 For escorts, I think it's fair to say that a tip is most certainly always appreciated - but that it's not expected. Plenty of good thoughts about tipping etiquette can be found in the "New to this?" section: http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=3924
Isabella Gia (Banned) 53881 Report post Posted November 30, 2011 (edited) I do not ask/invite gentlemen to tip me in my ads or website as in my fee I include all I have to invest for the date as well as my profit . If in occassions (and it has been the case) a gentleman thinks for a particular situation that happened during the encounter I made an extra 'effort' and decides to tip me for that, is of course appreciated and flattering as that means he thinks I handled the situation well :) I'm not saying tipping is right or wrong or trying to change anyone's perspective on this, is just my POV. Boomer 33202 Report post Posted November 30, 2011 I don't tend to tip, but if I do get to see someone on a regular basis I'll likely take a gift. Most ladies seem to appreciate the thought when they get some flowers, chocolates or a bottle of wine.
VedaSloan 119179 Report post Posted November 30, 2011 If you are seeing an escort through an agency, please tip! Agency girls must give up a portion (usually at least half) to the agency. Tips are very much appreciated. For example, 613girls charge $180 for an hour, the escort gets $90. So please tip!
roamingguy 300292 Report post Posted November 30, 2011 (edited) Well this guy provides a gift (usually gift card) along with the donation at the beginning of the encounter. A tip is provided at the end of the encounter And yes, a gift is nice, and it shows appreciation for the companionship the lady provides. But the tip, well the tip...as interpersonal and social an encounter is, remember, it is the lady's livelihood. And a tip can help with her expenses...pay the bills, put food on the table, pay the rent etc etc etc. Is the gift/tip expected, no, but I'm sure a lady appreciates a gentleman who gives them. But if I was to see a lady from an agency, I would provide a tip equal to the cost of a tip and gift combined that I give an independent lady, strictly for the reason Berlin cites. For awhile I was paying $150/night for a hotel, plus other expenses like lotions, candles, towels, etc.

I wasn't trying to say that indies don't have expenses too, it's just that usually most indies integrate these costs into their rate.
