Legal Question

Recommended Posts

Guest bngfrank11

I have been a lurker as a guest for a while now and have looked at some of the amazing adds here (they are great).

My question is, what are the legalities of escorts? Is this posted somewhere in here?

I am wanting to contact one the ladies here, but am worried about the laws. Do the authorities crackdown on the escort scene, or is it more that they focus on the street level?

Would the authorities every post to this board to lure people into a sting of some kind?

Am I just being paranoid and reading too much into it?

Sorry for the basic questions, but I am really confused here.

Thanks,

Thanks for the response roamingguy. Took me three days to read all the info.

I think that I have a better understanding now.

So I guess that there are no issues with the advertisers here then.

Thanks for your help.

A lot of people have questions about the legality of what we do, and I am so glad to see that some have posted the threads here for anyone to see.

The grey areas are what have people confused, but when a client calls for me, they are paying for my time as a 'companion', just like any other job, if I am there, I am being paid.

What happens during the course of my time with them, is between two consenting adults and is no one else's business.

I have explained it in this way to people that ask.

If a guy meets a girl in a bar, buys her a drink or two, then they go to his or her place and have sex, is the girl soliciting or the guy being a 'john'? No.

Just as the analogy above, the guy has basically 'bought' services, in a round about way, but still, he has basically paid for sex. That is how I look at it.

or you wine and dine a girl for weeks, and in the end you get laid, you've paid something to get it.

It is a good thing for people to ask questions, as they should. I for one do callbacks to legitimize the client, unless it is someone that I have seen before, but it is a good checkpoint to have.
