Guest Ou**or**n Report post Posted January 25, 2012 I view masturbation as an essential part of our sexual being. I also find women that masturbate to be more in touch with themselves sexually which I find makes them better lovers. So what fuels your spank bank? For me it isn't porn but rather two other sources. My first is fond remembrances of the many beautiful and hot women I've met in this hobby. After a good encounter I can get off quite a few times in the days following just replaying the event or playing alternate versions in my mind. When I have a great encounter with a lady I get a lot of bang for my buck ;) The other big source for me is erotic fiction, especially bdsm themed fiction. When I was at an impressionable age I read 'Story of O' and god what an effect it had on me. To this day scenes from that book replay through my head at night. My favorite site is BDSM Library. Some of the stuff is not to my taste but when I hit one that is good - well sometimes I don't make it through the whole story.
Guest W***ledi*Time Report post Posted January 25, 2012 I find that stories, written well, can generate an exciting erotic dimension -- one that no camera can show. This is because emotions, desires, and feelings (all experienced by us internally, but not visible to the eye) can be directly expressed through the written word. This extra dimension takes a wider advantage of the brain's being such a complex sex organ. An author's imagination (or particularly apt turn of phrase) can act as the perfect spark that, in its turn, sets the reader's own imagination on fire. It's very interactive. For me, an imagined image or situation can often be more exciting than any ready-made image that is simply just there for the viewing could ever be. Thousands of free, user-submitted erotic stories are posted on Literotica's website.
Guest Ou**or**n Report post Posted January 25, 2012 Very true, literature gives a very broad means of expression. Time to check out Literotica!
thedriver 6179 Report post Posted January 26, 2012 Erotic short stories was one of my first loves and it has always remained in my masturbatory play. Have you read The Sleeping Beauty Trilogy by Ann Rice. The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty / Beauty's Release / Beauty's Punishment. http://www.amazon.com/Sleeping-Beauty-Novels-Claiming-Punishment/dp/0452156610 When she first wrote them she had them published under the pseudonym of A. N. Roquelaure. They are a fun read!
Guest Ou**or**n Report post Posted January 26, 2012 Good reminder, I know she wrote them and I read all the Vampire Chronicles and the Mayfair Witches series (which I enjoyed more). However I never got to the Sleeping Beauty trilogy. I think I'm overdue!

Maverick 2873 Report post Posted January 26, 2012 I'm a very visual person so I rely on a large collection of videos, and I gravitate towards women with cute faces who look enthused, and scenes without simulated/real violence.
Guest W***ledi*Time Report post Posted February 1, 2012 Over a period of time, I had collected the Beauty books one-by-one from used book stores, but I'd never gotten around to reading them until drivers' reminder. The Beauty trilogy is lots of fun, the ordeals of the slaves varied enough that the reader doesn't get bored (yes, your ears should be burning, M.deSade - it's possible to be revulsed and bored at the same time). And the extensive content dealing with the psychology-of-the-slave is worked artfully in so that the exposition of the theory enhances, rather than bogs down, the narrative (a contrast to the "Law" of the otherwise perfectly enjoyable Emanuelle Arsan). I'm not much of a vampire-type-guy, so I haven't read any other Anne Rice. Interestingly, I see (according to Wiki, anyway) that: The trilogy is read by many among those involved in the BDSM community, but Anne Rice told her biographer that she refused the offer to meet with its practitioners face-to-face, and in fact her brief encounters with "those people" resulted in the discontinuation of the Sleeping Beauty series after the third book, because of moral revulsion she felt when she was confronted with the actuality of the practice. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sleeping_Beauty_Trilogy#cite_note-Hoppenstand_22-6 No revulsion in the Beauty books, though - just 700 pages of happy entertainment! loopie 15358 Report post Posted February 1, 2012 I like to reflect on experiences I've had both through this hobby and with past sweethearts. I also like images of sexy women, but not porn. A lot of the time I even wank to images of pretty women clothed, which I frequently find sexier than seeing them naked.

Studio 110 by Sophia 150333 Report post Posted February 2, 2012 I tend to get all worked up after I have had a good romp in the sac, lol... If I have been fulfilled and inspired by the fun-loving activites, it seems to make me horny all over again by bedtime, or few hours after. Just replaying the whole experience in my head all over again. I been in trouble a few times with this as my lover may say" didn't I please you ??" My answer is " yes...but pleased me so well I want more, " hehehe, like a bag of chips.

bewlayb 7480 Report post Posted February 3, 2012 I usually go through different phases....right now what really gets my juices flowing is watching men take matters into their own hands ;) What a coincidence Dorinda. I have the same turn-on, but from a different perspective. Mine. Which reminds me... I think I've always gotten the most spank mileage from thinking/dreaming/fantasizing about a future encounter with a woman. When I was younger, this would usually occur after reading several successive articles in Playboy. I would then lie back, absorb all that I read, and then begin thinking about a particular article that caught my fancy that evening. I would imagine how a live encounter with the article might play out. Soon that familiar warm feeling washed over me. Ahhh, bliss. Nowadays I tend to think about a lady I may have met from here, especially if I'm planning to repeat and I want to kind of choreograph how I'd like our next encounter to play out. This I find is even better than when I used to read those Playboy articles, because I've actually met the woman and have real memories to build upon. Ladies, if only I could post recommendations for some of my fantasy encounters with you. :icon_wink:
