whatsup 11893 Report post Posted November 22, 2008 How would one discretely rent a hotel room without giving any personal info such as cc name etc.
Guest i***k*** Report post Posted November 22, 2008 Only thing I can think of that would avoid a CC number would be a cash only place... If you're trying to hide the charges you'd be better to get a second credit card just for this purpose.
cat 262460 Report post Posted November 22, 2008 How would one discretely rent a hotel room without giving any personal info such as cc name etc. I have yet to find any that will rent without any personal information and believe me when I say I tried. Even paying cash you need to provide photo ID... Catherine
whatsup 11893 Report post Posted November 22, 2008 I am thinking more along the alias use of a name. Which hotels take cash? I would also want to prebook room.
bangminton 145 Report post Posted November 22, 2008 Maybe the joints on Montreal Road like Concorde Motel ? Not the best place mind you but...
cat 262460 Report post Posted November 22, 2008 When I landed in Ottawa I visited EVERY freaking hotel-motel in the city as I needed to stay off the grid and had no ID. Every seedy little place still needed a drivers license. They will register the room in any name you want, but they need the ID for the registration. Needless to say I slept in my car that summer... Emma Alexandra 123367 Report post Posted November 22, 2008 how about just getting a money mart or western union card...you still have to give info but at least you don't have to worry about having charges shown on your regular cc. kisses, Emma A

This is one of the most useful pieces of information I've seen on the board here. I'm sure some SPs might find this useful for acquiring rooms as well if they wish to do incalls. whatsup 11893 Report post Posted November 22, 2008 I am just trying to figure (learn) about anonymity and total discretion for myself and others. I would just like to be able to rent a room and not have to be concerned about providing my real name to anyone via identifiable plastic be it cc or photo ID. It sounds like that is just not possible. That sucks Thank you all for your input.
Emma Alexandra 123367 Report post Posted November 22, 2008 i think that perhaps your out of luck then...to get a nice hotel you'll need to give the right info and a crappy hotel most respectful ladies wouldn't go too. How about i you get the lady you desire to get the hotel room in her name? Just give her the money to book it for you. kisses, Emma A
AmberWyld 311 Report post Posted November 22, 2008 As for most of my experiences when it comes to dealing with Hotels and Motels, no matter what form of payment is used, you still must show some form of ID, like a driver's license. This is done so to protect them from damages, so if you do, they can seek the person who caused them. ALSO, on a more personal note... I am all about discretion, but as an SP provider, one of the tools that protects us is being able to confirm a call, thus we need the name of the person in the room to be able to book a date. I would be very leary of going to a hotel room with a name like Joe Blow, John Smith, or worse yet, name withheld. Too dangerous in todays world, also, it would give an impression of a set up or sting wouldn't you think? Just my two cents on this, not sure what other SP's think. Cheers! esoterica 624 Report post Posted November 22, 2008 To the OP? What's the issue? If you don't have a CC, you may have to try Emma's prepaid CC route suggestion. If you don't want somebody living in your house to see the bill, send it to your office OR... get an AMEX and use paperless billing (they do that). If it's shyness or privacy? Be bold. Walk in with a "I'm getting laid" smirk on your face. Look them in the eye.

Go GSM (Rogers, Fido, Petrocan, 7-11) and get a sim card cloner on ebay. 12 bucks clones 2-12 separate sim cards onto one card which you put in your phone, and you choose the number which answers the phone when you want. kih 458 Report post Posted November 23, 2008 Very few hotels in the city now will accept those preloaded moneymart CC even with proper identification.
ulixestrojan 3757 Report post Posted November 24, 2008 It is standard international practice to give name etc. You raise more questions if you do not. There are hotels that accept cash and no ID but that is also where the bodies are stashed.
whatsup 11893 Report post Posted November 24, 2008 Emma A why I am looking for discretion is not for seeing an SP it is for meeting a mistress. I just want to avoid the potential red flag of name association while renting a room. I felt it would help minimize the chance of getting caught. Most hotels will do a pre authorization on the Credit card at check in but will give you the option to pay cash on checkout.
