PM me if you need to know more. But you are right it is harder to find independents in that range even compare to a year ago when I started the hobby. I will just make one comment in passing - yes, there are many more ladies visiting this city than say two years ago. There was a time when the listing on EC for Ottawa was a handful - today roughly 50 (includes local and visiting providers). The market is competitive, though what you seek does exist. caveman 147 Report post Posted November 29, 2008 I think it depends what you're looking for...if you're just looking to get laid, there are still plenty of non-GFE SPs out there, but if you want a more engaging experience, the extra $$s are completely worth it, IMHO. I'm still a relative newbie, but I've dabbled at various price ranges and so far the higher prices have yielded much more memorable and satisfying visits, on all levels (i.e. yes the acronyms, but more than that as well). PistolPete 61421 Report post Posted November 29, 2008 In the past year, the majority of ladies have kept their rates within the same as always advertised.The year previous there might of been a little lesser rate but not much. As stated above by caveman, it's all about your budget, want type of experience you are looking for. I for one certainly do not see a inflation rate change, where rates have risen to chase away customers. imwildru 100 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 Call me negative or what ever, but i gave up on the Ottawa scene, way over priced and the quality is NOT there- of course some of you are happy with what available- but now i rather drive to Montreal where there is much more selection and much better price- latinas, middle easterns, french, english and europans- and all mint vs. the very limited selection here and most of them are not even locals. In the end it does cost more but i do get better service and and better selction of SP's. And i do the same when i fly to T.O. I have more to say, but I'll stop here. :-| I have had the same thoughts on this matter, however I am not able to get to Montreal and Toronto easily, so I just look through the adds and drool I have often wondered if it is just not a case of the grass is greener however many on this board echo your sentiment. Why can't the ladies visit here from Montreal and just charge a little extra, why does have to be double when they come to Ottawa? Are we really that much harder to be with. I have noticed cerb grow in recent month, thurs I now have raised again to slow business. I offer two main prices & Domination ( GFE - 300) & (Extreme PSE - 400 ) & (Domination & 400-500)... It comes down to supply and demand. mod 135640 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 The prices are lower in Montreal because the MUCH LARGER volume of ladies working and they have a serious price war go on where they would all keep dropping prices lower and lower to keep the business coming in. We lost many of our advertisers during this time on escorts-canada as the ladies and the agencies just could not afford to pay for advertising at the end of it. It is once again on the rise, the ladies and agencies can only survive so long doing this foolish stuff. I know you guys want cheap rates and high quality but trust me Montreal is NOT the normal for this business and Ottawa is pretty much where it is at for the rest of the country in regards to rates. Calgary seams to be the highest (but again - less ladies and a very high demand from guys who are making really good money). Ottawa has lots of money as we all know. Many people in government and the I.T. industry live in Ottawa and make very good money. The ladies will price themselves usually just like Paige just explained. If they are too busy at the current rate they increase the rates (supply and demand) when it slows down (and it does) then the ladies lower the prices if they find they are not as busy as they need to be. Also with all the NO SHOWS in Ottawa (Ottawa has a bad reputation for this - and it is very disrespectful) well... the ladies from Montreal probably don't want to come visit (like many other traveling ladies) - I don't know why this happens so much in Ottawa and I don't have a solution to fix it but BOY DO I HEAR ABOUT IT A LOT! If my time was wasted constantly I sure would leave and find somewhere else to work (or) charge more to compensate for the wasted time and make it worth wild. We've had this whole discussion a number of times...with respect to Mia when her rates went up twice in a couple weeks. In her case her price was way low for the service level provided...the two bumps to $270 didn't even see a glitch in her appointment schedule...she could easily have gone higher if she hadn't retired. i have seen some ladies who I thought were not worth the price charged and i just don't go there again. The market will adjust...they will either have to up their service level or lower their price for the clients to come back again... I paid $2000 in Vegas for 4 amazing hours but got 10 different girls in Germany for 700 Euro. Ottawa is pretty normal for Canada - Montreal is the anomaly but if you can make the drive it is surprising what is available. Afterall it is the amateur porn capital of North America. I never leave the city but might start drifting for a day once in a while. Or perhaps we need to organize a back and forth caravan, several ladies are visiting through agencies that do literally double the rate for the sort drive, there has to be some middle ground?
